of course.

Ironically I get bummed soon after WINNING the SB just because no games for a while.. and victories do feel fleeting you always want the next one...

It was a good run, but the D and the coaches puked last night. It happens.
Yea it all ends and we are now looking for other things to do and occupy the space in our minds otherwise consumed by the NEP.

if their defense was garbage last night what the hell does that make our bent and broken in million pieces defense last night?

At least the Eagles had a respectable defense all season long - this defense was far less talented and it showed in the end.

If Brady wasn't the QB on the team this year I really don't think they even get to 8-8
This is a good example of a very offensive game still coming down to one of the defenses making a play. Their D made the huge stop when we were all getting ready to see Brady win the game again. grrrr

right, and when they win, its easier because you flood yourself with the news and sports and now we have to avoid all that. Often I just imagine the future seasons and pretend in my head we win it in 2018 and 19 etc LOL.

I guess the thing I am most disappointed in is not getting the second repeat. The actual game last night sucked but I am over that already.. But when I think about the missed repeat and three out of four that will bother me.

yeah it was a gut punch, but early on I was worried our O was not going to counter.. and we would be blow to shreds.. The D WAS blown to shreds but Brady felt legendary to me anyway. Even the fact they got into hail mary position and the game was alive to the final second.

The AFC is a Cauldron of hot steaming KAH KAH. We will be back.

The fact this team was a hail mary away from tying it possibly, is a testiment to the GOAT. Some will try to say this loss affects his legacy. Absolute BS!! There's not another QB in history that could've kept this team in the game like TB did.

It's hard ( right now) to get excited for 2018. I want to skip ahead to SB 53 in Atlanta. Oh well. Hmm

Agreed.

I personally have made myself get past it having to be about winning the Super Bowl. Larry Bird was my life from my teens to my twenties.. and he only won 3, lost in the finals a couple times, three times in the conference championship. Every game that guy played in that I could watch was great joy.

With Brady I am just going to be happy watching him play great in any game. GOAT

I think I gently tossed a pillow at the couch when Tom fumbled but that was the extent of my anger. More frustration than anything. I don't freak out or anything like that.

I'm on the board today to process the loss.

Going 15-4 and losing the super bowl by a score seems like a reasonable outcome for a team that never seemed to be complete, have a real identity or was ever dominant.

The loss was disappointing but I don't feel totally drained like other SB losses.

couldn't agree more. Game is done....looking at the highlights we were so close but it is over, the game is done, finished. Philly won, our defense played brutal....game is over.

Yet again we got to follow our team to the end.

One thing that often doesn't get mentioned, or maybe noticed, is the reason I think Brady and his family are so disappointed (but of course the media spins it as a spoiled rich athlete) is because they would like a return on investment...a validation for all the hard work he has put it. Winning it all is that validation.

Brady invests so much of his life into getting better in every possible way that could help him on the field and when he falls short those that know him, family and friends, feel bad for him cause they know the sacrifices he gives and the things he misses out on. Yet people perceive that to be spoiled either because of how many SB's he already has, or because of his affluent lifestyle (that he earned).

He has been so great for this team for so long. We are truly lucky to have him, and to be able to enjoy watching him for a couple more seasons at least...
