I went to WebMD and typed "pain in hand". According to WebMD, a leading internet medical site if I ever saw one, TFB might have Lupus, Reynaud's Disease, or Pregnancy. We're definitely ****ed.

Based on the photos of the skin I've seen, I think we can rule out Reynaud's. . . if that makes you feel any better.
