The only real issue is if he plays or not. If Brady plays they will win. And he is going to play unless something truly awful is wrong, or if he simply cannot handle or throw the football.

what is with the stitches/band aid on the middle finger then? it is right in the photo when he had the glove off. he was wearing the glove so no one would see which finger had the cut, not that it matters.

don't agree...it will depend on how bad the thumb is. I have no doubt he will play, but that doesn't mean he will be anywhere near his normal self. Not sure why some are down playing this injury...it could be minor, or it could be something that impairs his ability to throw the ball well. Just because we see Brady on the field doesn't mean his performance will be the same as what we have come to expect.

I'm not downplaying it at all though, I agree with you. So many on here are talking about it being BB trick that is silly.

If there`s anything serious that could put his game status in jeopardy, I guess the team will bring an additional QB and cut somebody in the next 24 hours. Patriots do not carry a QB on their practice squad, so they cant just promote a backup prior to the game.
