Jags @ Steelers Game Thread

I think that the Vikings could be troublesome for our offense but I'll defend against Case Keenum over Drew Brees any day.

I think Patriots vs Saints would be a great Super Bowl matchup.
No question. Always take the crappier QB

Schefter keeps hinting that Brown will be just a decoy. If the Jaguars can have Bouye locked on him all game with minimal damage & Ramsey follow Schuster, I don’t really see how the Steelers move the ball.

I think we’re going to be seeing JAX next week.

Im not sure whod be the better matchup, theres pros and cons to facing both teams, but definitely would be great to see pitt lose when basically not even acknowledging jax as an opponent. I still pick pitt to win tho, they did the same thing to the 3 or 4 teams they faced before us in the regular season and still won those games. Its just a very thin field this year in the nfl.

such a difference between Bill and Tomlin.

I would LOVE to see the steelers lose after hearing their players already looking at new england.

the fact that they have to keep telling us over and over how great antonio brown looks makes me think he is not 100% and this is just gamesmanship....but I guess we will see.

Hoping to see peoploe wiping their tears and blowing their snots on those towels.
I admit. I hate the disrespect the Squealers are showing JAX by their constant priming for a rematch with us. It's such bad form.

I've been a huge fan of Coach Coughlin for decades. I hate the Giants but have no issue with that man. If anything he brought dignity and class to that organization.

I hope his team takes it to the Squealers today and shuts up that arrogant team and fan base.

He's not 100% . Squealers said he has an illness which is a complete lie.

It would be a great matchup but the equalizer's the guy on the bench. The coach. They would try and play the clock once again but i feel good about our chances against them.

The last time they played, the equalizer was HD replay being used to overrule a TD catch, rather than letting it stand.

Not sure if Pats fans are "afraid" of the Steelers but they are clearly a more difficult matchup. The Jags offense is similar to the Titans and should be relatively easy to plan for. The Jags have one way to win - a low score slug fest. The Steelers are loaded with offensive talent with a HOF QB and Pro Bowl talent at WR and RB and have a solid defense (5th in yards allowed) as well. Pats will be favored and if they play well they should still win but it not a gimme by any stretch.

It’s going to be funny to see Le’Veon Bell run out of town in Sh!tsburgh after his franchise tag/contract stink and tweets about “round 2’s”.

I would personally prefer to play the Jags. Not cause I think they would be easier. I just want to face a new team. I love we got to play the Titans.

Who the hell wants to play the Bill's a 3rd time? Seeing a team too often is boring. KC in a revenge match would be okay but really I didn't care. I wanted the Titans is large part because it would be a new team they don't get to see as often.

I want to see how Brady deals with this new Jags D. It would be a harder D to deal with than the Steeler's but it be interesting and new. It will allow for a much better week of Xs and Os build up. If you want to talk about Steelers/Pats you can apply a lot of what was said in the first game.

As long as the Jaguars win by at least 4 points I'll be happy.

So we are changing this to the game thread it seems? This is now the earliest game thread of all time started 6 days before the game. Do I win a prize? :)

I want ****sburgh to win but I think the Jags are going to win. It doesn't matter either way the Pats are going to win next week. On another note I hear a lot of talk today about Ben and the OC not getting along. Where is the big ESPN article about it?

It's part of my Pro Line ticket (legal gambling here in Canada eh?). For football you can bet on a win, 4 points or more or a tie, 3 points or less.

My ticket has the Eagles, Jags and Saints all with Pro Line wins, $10 bet for a chance at $469, fingers crossed, lol...
