I don't think anyone here is thinking that it's all roses. I'm happy to acknowledge that there is some "friction" right now amongst all parties -- but it's the same "friction" that we all face in our relationships. There's nothing out there that suggests from a verified source that BB wants out, that Brady wants BB out, and that Kraft is overruling BB and giving him mandates.
Is there any evidence there's friction at all?

Kinda looks like wickersham has really thrown lots of Pats fans in the twilight zone, when it was intended to raise the furor of the Pats haters...my goodness.

Whats really remarkable to me is how many “Patriot fans” want this to be true, want Brady to suck, want Belichick to quit, and want Garrapolo and the 49ers to be one great. To me that makes them 49er fans and Garrapolo sycophants and not Patriot fans.

Ivan, what blows my mind is we are fortunate to be fans of the team that has had the greatest run in the history of the NFL and we're still in the midst of that run. Who knows how many more SBs BB/TB12 will produce? 1?2?3? More?
Just mindboggling the negativity of some of these so-called fans.
They remind me of the people who won Powerball jackpots and went on how it made them miserable. They already WERE miserable. If you're not happy without money, you will eventually not be happy with it,either. It'll take some of the sting away at first. But those are the kind of people who would be 100% self-indulgent with the money. You can do a lot of good for a lot of people with $100 million and still live like a king.
But even tho some of those fans might tick me off a little at first-I always end up feeling very sorry for them.
They're obviously people who don't know how to enjoy life.

Interesting question. Somehow I don’t think Belichick was ever warm and fuzzy to anyone there, let alone Alex Guerrero. So how someone could discern between Belichick being cold and dour to Guerrero, and Belichick being cold and dour to Alex Guerrero is beyond me.

I would be willing to bet Belichick was cold and dour to Alex Guerrero.

were u a Boston sports fan who knew nothing but disappointment since 1986, only to have a midget scat back from Columbia force a hall of fame coaches out the door when the team was on the doorstep Of a prolonged period of dominance?
If u were, you would've been pissed at Krafty Bob too... Unless for some reason u were a HUGE Pete Carroll / Bobby Grier fan...

I am not from Boston, but was a Pats fan long before that. And no, I don't recall us being particularly pissed with Kraft, as we'd been through a string of really ****e owners prior to that including one who wanted to move the team to St. Louis.

The Parcells era ended because Parcells sold us out to the Jete, including bailing on the team going into a Super Bowl and stealing Curtis Martin. I don't think anyone at the time was on his side, quite the contrary, this is the origin of the animus we have with the Jete.

I'll admit to enjoying the Carroll era on the defensive side of the ball; loved his high risk/high reward style of defense and those were fun teams to watch. And it took me a while to realize that Grier was a disaster. But I don't have any recollection of anyone being upset with Kraft. Pete was wearing out his welcome, sure, but in retrospect he turned out to be a pretty decent coach. Kraft rode the wave of saving the team and then winning all those super bowls for a long time. And rightfully so. It was only when he came out as Roger's stooge that the fanbase turned on him. And rightfully so.

Exactly. The statement says there are theories out there that are "unsubstantiated" (which implies those theories may be true) and "highly exaggerated" (which outright says that there's something there, but ESPN stretched it).

Why would you expect it to be otherwise? We already know that there is at least some truth to the Guerrero issue, just for an obvious example, so a flat denial would have made the Patriots just as bad as Wickersham.

Couldn’t agree more. Spoiled rotten.

Explain how you are a fan of BB. And don't give us that same old **** that you're an old girlfriend etc.
i became a fan of BB around 2003

when the media was making fun of his attire....calling him hoodie etc

the more i learned about him the more i liked

his letter to pat tillman.....his work with jim brown.....his disdain for pretense

his honesty about how spygate was trivial and others were doing it too

his ability to earn the respect of guys like randy moss (who i am a fan of)

his understated arrogance.....his charity work done without fanfare

his dry sense of humor.....his sometimes awkward personality

i never poke fun at BB.....do i?......only at brady.......i want BB to show the world that the dynasty was mostly about him

the difference between me and the brady homers is that i am honest

is this enough?.....you still dont believe i sincerely like BB?.....
..

what say you, @IcyPatriot

The core of the issue here is that most Pats fans are uneasy with Guerrero's background and don't understand why Brady can't see that he is a snake oil salesman.
There is something there, a small issue that may have been exaggerated.
His diet recommendation obviously work for Brady, but to me Guerrero is a classic leech who has his jaws deeply clutched on Brady's back.
Look at the statement he has written. The part that pisses me off is the 'Mr. Kraft and his coaches? **** you.

Nice to see a little

were u a paying season ticket holder when Krafty Bob ran bill parcells outta town?

No, wouldn't have made much sense as I lived in Canada at the time. And while we weren't happy that Parcells left town, as I noted in my other post in response to yours, this occurred shortly after Kiam had sold the franchise to Orthwein, who tried to move us to St. Louis. So Kraft had lots of cachet with the fans, as he should have.

Do you think that in a hypothetical world where Parcells stayed and "bought the groceries", that we win five rings? He coached three different teams post-Patriots, and made it to zero Super Bowls. I think you were in a very small minority if you were that upset with Kraft. We were all pissed with Parcells for stabbing us in the back.

When it comes to a player of TB stature, I'll trust his judgement. I'm sure BB doesn't like his method, or chosen health guru, but it is proven and works. There is common ground here, and I believe it's already been found but the national media doesn't like that narrative.
