I don't understand why there needs to be a public apology. If they are truly BFFs, then the only thing a public apology does is give the media and fans some sense of closure. I don't know why we need that...and **** what the media wants. Those ****tards deserve nothing from this franchise.
That can't be it. Tom was coerced by the media and caved into public pressure.Probably because he decided it was the right thing to do
To me, people with class do it in person.Or it is thing people with class do.
I swear, the people in here are so dedicated to the notion that Brady can do no wrong that even when Brady himself admits he f'ed up, they have to find some other reason to justify the whole thing and act like apologizing to someone is indicative of a character flaw.
If it was any other player on another team, the exact same people in here would be laughing at the coaching staff and criticizing the player for doing what he did.
You do realize he chewed Josh a new one in public in front of other players and coaches? To me, people with class do it in person.
And not sure if you are arguing with me or if my point made you go in another direction.
Brady can do no wrong? He's fairly human and doesn't have a habit of doing this. 16 years with plenty of pressure on him and we have 2 outburst documented by the media.
Doing a public apology does seem unusual and there could be many reasons for it. I'll not speculate too much other than to say it seems more for the media or interests outside the team. When does BB want people to speak publically about intern matters? ...
He doesn't owe anything to me.You do realize he chewed Josh a new one in public in front of other players and coaches?
Do you think that warrants a public apology?
I don't think Tom gives a **** about me or you.He doesn't owe anything to me.
You seem to be very passionate about this issue.
I'm sure all this stuff gets handled in house. Not sure you got to my other points that it's certainly an unusual chain of events and no big deal either way. The one thing it does, is it stops being a distraction for BB/the team and the issue can be put to rest.I don't think Tom gives a **** about me or you.
He cares about Josh and how he is perecived by players, coaches and owners.
That's all there is to it.

I'll follow suit.

I'm not even sure what point you are trying to make or what you think my opinion is on this topic. Really, I'm exhausted by this and that is odd because I'm must not be communicating very well because I get the impression people think I'm being caustic or harsh.Putting stu
So it’s all about speaking on behalf of others for you
I was glad that Brady did.
He wants to win and score on every drive. That kind of fire is what wins championships.
BTW, shouts out to London Fletcher for having some sense in this non-sensical world of social media.
I agree that OBJ's antics are often in poor taste, and his urinating dog act is much different than Brady coming unhinged, but had Dez Bryant, OBJ, or a similar player gone off on a coach in the way Brady did they would've been treated similarly by the media, if not worse.
One can argue that Brady didn't intend to cause a distraction with his actions, but he did, regardless of whether that was his intent.
I wholeheartedly agree with your rationalization. The respect between a player and a coach is absolutely a 2-way street. If there is none, then the team is not a team.
However, I do think it is in Josh's jurisdiction to remind Tom to look at open receivers. Now, I dont know what Josh said of if he insulted Tom but for Tom to seemingly blow up based on a criticism is out of line.
I also believe that Tom does tend to "lock into" players sometimes. Those are players he trusts and I get that.
I think the exchange surfaces a frustration but I'm making a leap to that conclusion.
I do think Tom slung a couple of "F-Us" and Josh and IMO that is reason to apologize.
With that said I have had many hard conversations with coaches but I always did in private.
Emotions got the best of Josh and Tom. It happens. Apologies were exchanged and time to move on.
Uh, McDaniels isn't "some jamoke" - and it speaks volumes as to your respect level for the guy that you called him that.
As far as the offense is concerned, he is 2nd only to Belichick. That hardly makes him "some jamoke".
