Future HOFer Larry Fitz weighs in.

No need to insult someone, could just be a typo or some innocent mistake:

This question isnt a mistake and he even went back and deleted it when he realized how stupid it was.

So who gets the # 1 seed if the Patriots end up 13-3, Steelers 12-4, but Steelers beat Patriots? Does head to head only count if both end up with the same # of losses?

The fact you even thought it could have been a mistake proves you are even stupider than he is. Go away already. You have proven yourself a ****ty poster before. No need to keep doing it.

The NFL needs to completely revisit it's punishment phase, and needs much clearer guidelines as to fines and suspensions......I think it underuses ejections, and overuses suspensions to compensate, and there is no consistency as to how fines & suspensions are carried it

it all starts with referees taking charge of games much sooner....in the Miami game they did a poor job of handling the chippy behavior, and they did similar here.....they also were very inconsistent in handling the mugging by DB's......the BS with Amendola should have been dealt with sooner, and if they had ejected Gronk, this suspension would have never happened......they bounce Gronk after that play, and I think zero posters here have a problem with it.......they'd probably tack on a fine (under a clear tiered system would be cool), and none of this ****storm happens

I'm no expert on NFL discipline, but it does seem incredibly inconsistent, and I wonder if anyone really is.

A few weeks ago when all the fights were happening, saw several different places talking about how the NFL usually doesn't suspend you if you were ejected. That seems stupid to me, like a red card in soccer being a completely different punishmeht at minute 10 than minute 89 of a blowout.

So I wonder if Gronk got ejected, does he get suspended now? And if that's the case, isn't it the refs fault for not ejecting him?

Stupider? Really. The guy just made a mistake

Stupider? Really. The guy just made a mistake, whereas you immaturity has never been mistaken.
No, he asked a stupid question. That is not a mistake.
Go away.

Do you understand "you" just played the race card?

Yes, but I got the idea from Stephen A. Smith when he was talking about Tom Brady from the game yesterday.

Dude.

There is such a thing as a new fan. I know some of us love to whip out our credentials, just how crusty our Patriots underwear that we haven't changed since the beginning of the dynasty is, but we really do hope for a new generation of fans to come in once in a while, and when they do, they're going to ask some questions out of ignorance because they don't know all the particulars yet.

Just because you know this stuff like the back of your hand doesn't mean it's obvious to everyone. Don't come down so hard on someone who legitimately may not know how little things work and asks an innocent question The purpose of this forum is to discuss football topics, not to display who can be a bigger sports snob after all.

IMHO your response was far more ignorant than the question.

Someone with professionalism, like @AndyJohnson points out the question to see what's going on. Whereas you go insulting and bullying him, like you always do. This is not a healthy mentality.

This is true class.

I remember seeing screenshots from the Bills forum(s) 3 years ago with comments exactly like that. Looks like nothing has changed and it probably occurs each & every week the Bills and Pats play. You never see those types of posts on here.

Hopefully Runyan gets ran over by a bus on his way home today I would laugh my ass off if that happened

This idea that our fanbase, or any fanbase, is better than another has no basis in reality. All fanbases have their fair share of ****heads.

He didn’t drive the guy’s head into the ground. His left arm/elbow caught his head as he piled on. If gronk’s arm hit his back instead, we would be talking no fine or suspension, just a 15 yard penalty.

That's not the hit we are taking about

The difference is that was in the middle of the play and you can make a reasonable argument (and many have) that Flacco gave himself up way too late. So even if you want to call the hit illegal it wasn't as egregious as gaining steam and diving your whole body forearm first into a player on his back well after the play ended.

Show me a camera angle with a whistle. If the incompetent refs couldn't throw 1 of 3 different obvious flags on the play (2 holds and the push for dpi), why should gronk be held responsible for no whistle on what amounts to a run of the mill 15 yard roughing call...while the play was live. OOBs or not, after the pick, his job is to tackle the defender w/ the ball. Refs blow it dead...fine, suspend him a game. The facts are: refs blew receiving calls on gronk all game. Tony Romo attested to this. We all saw it. If anyone can find a clip of officials blowing the interception dead before gronk hit the kid, I'll STFU. The officials lost control, then knew they blew that play so bad they didn't blow a whistle. Entire ref crew deserves a game suspension with gronk. They blow the whistle and gronk hits White, 1 game, no questions.

Anyone watching the game tonight? Safety assumed OOB on Bell. Bell tip toed around him for 20+ more and a td.

I think if it was another part of the body it would have been a fine.

But it was deliberate to the head and concussions are a huge issue.

I don't like it, don't like how he gets hacked every game - but fairness is not how the nfl is run.

I think the bigger issue is all the kids who look up to Gronk - he has a problem now he needs to fix.

c',mon make the catch Green

Dalton you stink

they had an easy draw play
