Tomlin already thinking about the Pats

Tomlin is already thinking of BB and the Pats?

I bet he'd be saddened to know that BB is not already thinking of Tomlin and the Steelers.
I'm sure they've done some advanced scouting and maybe BB, McD or Matty P have drawn up some new plays or defenses on ****tail napkins that took 2 minutes but no, they are not spending any mental energy on Pitt

Well, they might have a chance to start a little early on Pitt after the Bills game. I mean, they just played Miami yesterday. Do they really need a whole new game plan?

if the last few games are any indication of the steelers defense, brady is going to shred them...especially if we have hogan back.

brett hundley had his best game of the season...

You need to listen to what Tomlin actually said. He didn't say "We'll absolutely be there". What Tomlin did was to say what pretty much everyone else has been saying.

Steelers' Mike Tomlin ready for 'fireworks' vs. Patriots

Everyone with a brain knows that the AFC is, at least as of this moment, a 2 team conference with a few possible spoilers that'll fill out the playoff schedule.
I hear you. But we both know he means "We'll absolutely be there." C'mon. But anything can happen in the coming weeks. We'll see. Luckily for the fans, though, the games are played and decided on the field.:)

You would think they would change something. In 11 full games, TB12 averages 29.4 ppg vs Pitt.

They only changed it once, in LeBeau's last game as DC for Pittsburg- they went man the whole game and beat us.

Then they inexplicably just went back to the same usual stupidity- their "this is what we do, beat us if you can."

We'll know on our first offensive drive if we're in for a game, or if we'll just win as usual.

Lebeau left Pitt after 2014 and the Pats didn't play them that year. They did in 2013 and hung 55 on them.

I respect Lebeau but he also did not have much success vs NE

I think @PP2 is referring to the game in Pittsburgh in 2011. I never saw it because the October snowstorm knocked out cable, power and life as we knew it for a few days. You are correct that the next time we played them they went back to zone and TB12 had a day (23/33 for 432 with 4 TDs).

Gotcha

No one does less with more than Mike Tomlin. One of the worst coaches in the league.

After beating Pitt so many times over the years (let's face it, they are our *****), BB and Brady have a mansion inside Tomlin's head.

Curious to see what type of coverage we will play when that game gets played. Defense still wins championships. Need to slow down Antonio Brown. I am not worried abou schuster.

The Steelers aren't loaded with weapons all over the place.. We'll likely stick Butler on Brown with safety help over the top, Gilmore will completely lock down Shuster or Bryant.. Chung can handle any of their tight ends...

It will all be about containing Bell and not letting him break huge runs

Yep. Make Ben beat you.

Offensively, throwing the football to any of our weapons and they'll have a tough time stopping us. PIT's strength on defense from what I've seen is against the run and that's it.

What are you going to tell me next they are going to bring their bags packed to the game? But really, he is not wrong if both teams do what they are supposed to do they will both be in the AFC Championship game. The AFC is not the strongest conference this year. I would just never come out this early and say that.

If anyone thinks Belichick is thinking about the Steelers while we just started the gauntlet of divisional games hasn't been following this team very long!

Its crazy the way the schedule worked out, with all of our division games bunched up at the very end of the season, with huge games like Pittsburgh mixed in

I just remember 2015 and all those games they dropped down the stretch that ultimately cost them the AFCCG, forcing them to go into Mile High for that game and they nearly pulled it off with an injury riddled team

This team always provides a wild ride for fans!

Wouldn't it be something if the Steelers are a game or two behind when we meet in three weeks. Also there next Three is not easy by any stretch @ Cincinnati vs Ravens and vs Patriots. If they win all three they deserve the #1 Seed. That said Big Ben and L Bell haven't been banged up yet surprisingly?? I am sure the dirty Ravens and Bangles will make good on those inevitables.:p:D
