Guess who's coming back to the Pats this season? (Maybe)

More importantly, did AJ Derby clear waivers?

Because VV is good but not THAT good.

Brown is a superior player. He will help more than VV.

They still had problems with edge and gap control.

Raider o line is good.

They played 6 dbs yesterday.

They will not overcome the High loss

I see the run D improving but not by much
With Hightower our we need BOTH Brown and valentine to rotate with branch and clog the middle.

Love Mitchell but he is an extra toy at this point and we have plenty.

I'd take VV over MM but that's a 60/40 proposition.

VV would be a great addition to the D line but MM is a valuable receiving threat.

Kontra's Red zone argument makes sense too.

Whatever. I'll let Bill decide this one.

I get the argument either way, too. Lots of factors to consider. I do think MM is more of a sure thing in his return based on production to date. VV is more in the "likely will help" category while MM is in the "indeed will help" category, IMO. YMMV.

Regards,
Chris

This may not mean anything to those who don't care....but when it comes to who guys in the locker room want back....it seems the answer is clear, at least from liking Instagram photos.

I'm of the opinion you really can't go wrong either way. I would much rather have the kid out there though.

Not to thread hijack but I find it interesting that Brady is a big Elon Musk fan on Instagram.

Bennett, Hogan and DA are fragile and Dorsett is useless.

They need another WR.

Yeah I know and I'm stuck on this. My opinion is that the Pats have enough offensive depth to generate points. Hogan will be back. But they don't have the same depth along the D line especially for Branch.

But the Red Zone argument is a good one.

I'm still in the VV camp.

Malcolm always seemed to be right in the middle of the action for us, would be huge.

As far as I'm concerned Malcolm does not exist until I see him on the field. He's been hurt since he got her. I expect nothing from him. Anything we get is a pleasant, unexpected surprise. Done thinking about him.

Your optimism and positive attitude are an inspiration.

it is much easier to find a rotation DT than a Wide receiver who can come in and contribute.

Dorsett has done nothing. If amendola misses a game we are incredibly thin at the position with Hogan out.

This is fantastic ! We can't have enough WR's in the red zone IMO !

Just checked, even Vince Valentine liked the post. Lol

VV is ok, but won't be a difference maker. They can replace his 15 - 20 snaps per game.

MM adds a layer of depth at a position that is thin. He can be a huge upgrade.

When did we start this alliterative naming fad? “Peter Parker, green goblin... and worst of all, J Jonah Jameson...”

Brown isn't on IR...
