Sure and the reasons why are several. But you are correct. Any team that is 500 or above (and even below) should be considered still in the playoff hunt.
With that mathematical equation completed, the evidence suggests their chances may be diminishing based on recent activity. Therefore my post saying their chances are looking poorer...

Absolutely. They're 5-4 and have to go west to California (Chargers) and then to, perhaps, the toughest visiting venue in the game (K.C.). Then, they get to go home and face the Patriots.

They could very easily be 5-7 three weeks from now.

Even at 6-2, the LA stadium has large patches of empty seats. Yeah I know it holds like 100 000, but it's the lower bowl section.
