La Canfora: "Very Real Chance" Patriots May See Bennett Debut Sunday Night

Ian Logue

The return of Martellus Bennett was one of the more exciting stories this week and while the initial signs seemed to a potential appearance next weekend against Oakland, it appears we could see him a little sooner than expected.

Damn I was hoping he would play but since laconfora is always wrong I guess he won’t be.

La Canfora... or maybe La Costanza:

CBS really needs a new insider. I wonder how long La Canfora lasts.

As long as he can physically handle it (shoulder might need another week or two) my belief is still knows the offense reasonably well enough to contribute on a few packages.

With Hogan out and going against a decent D they sure could use him.

This game is gonna be ugly with few red zone trips, if he helps us to score a TD instead of a FG in one or those trips it will be worth the roster spot in the 46 actives even if he sits on the bench 95% of the game.

Again, I realize a win is a win. Yet, there's no excuse not to beat this team by at least 17 points. They've checked out.

NO TEAM checks out when they play the Pats !!

@Ian You made a patsfans article based on something La Canfora said?

I say this in my best Brady 6 documentary voice. Are you nuts?

For the longest time, I've always pictured George Costanza when thinking of LaCanfora. Can't help it...

****.

You do realize you're this board's version of La Canfora, right?

Probably true, but in this one case, I actually agree with him. I've watched Denver play these past few weeks, and they honestly don't scare me like the teams of years past used to. Even as beat up as New England is, they ought to be able to break those ponies.

This is just another twist in one of the weirdest seasons in recent history...

I just don’t understand this mentality. I just want them to get the win. I don’t care if it’s by 100 points or 1 point. A win is a win. Blowing teams out is fun and all but it’s far secondary to just getting the win. WAY too many fans who have your same expectation level and then get mad when they don’t shred the other team. I don’t get it.
