Here's another with multiple quarterbacks all saying the same thing.....

Chip Kelly: Evolution of a play-caller

>>>>>Kelly's quarterbacks aren't given the option to audible out of a play. Barkley, who was traded to the Cardinals last week, recalled in the preseason game against the Colts when Kelly had the wrong play for the down and distance, but ran it anyway.

"He kept saying a curse word, 'Ah, screw it, screw it, screw it! Just run it!' " Barkley said.<<<<<<<

I get what you are saying but kelly had said his offense does include audibles. This is just a comment by the author, and Barkley’s comment was about calling the play over the headset not an audible.

I’m just by convinced.
Plus it was well known that with kaepernick in sf he slowed down the offense and didn’t run it at the pace he had in Philly and college.

Kelly version of an audible was saying that there's two plays, a run and a pass. My view is an audible allows the QB to change the play to whatever works best based on circumstances. In the video, it would have allowed him to look in the direction of an uncovered Torry Smith or the other receiver. Other teams obviously keyed in on it. That' s not to say that Kap isn't without his faults, but I think it's Kelly trying to save face...

Why would kelly lie? These interviews were while he was running a successful offense in philly.

Any offense in the works would tell the qb to throw the ball to a wr that has no one within 15 yards.

kaepernick certianly isn’t without faults in dactvhe had a plethora of them. Blaming his woes on an offensive innovator who succeeded with all his other QBs is shaky at best.

Yes he is an awful qb

You keep saying trans should bring him in to personally tell him they dint want him. Why would they waste their time? He isn’t owed anything. Should every former player without a job get invited for workouts or just the ones that complain?

No one said he is owed anything, just suggesting that if the NFL owners wanted to mitigate his law suit, then they should bring him for a work out and tell him why they are not going to hire him..

Do not understand what an awful QB is?? Is McGoin awful?? David Fales in Miami awful?? As "awful" as he is he has playoff experience.. if he can put aside his tendency to distract from the game, he might be a bigger asset than most back ups..

Once the NFL owners give up their phones that could result in many unintended consequences..

What is up with your spelling?? You usually are one of the more conscientious posters on this board.. a couple of your posts look sloppy

Did not say they would, but if you deny him the opportunity to be worked out by teams in need of a QB then that could lend credence to his allegations..

There has been an effort to say Kapernick has no talent or his talent is diminishing is all ********, compare his stats and accomplishments to many of the back up QB's in the NFL... statistically he is better than most.

Never said I wanted him on this team or any team, just give him the opportunity ..
Poor Colin...no one wants him

I feel strongly in the sense the govt cannot tell a private company who to hire but with programs like affirmative action it can.

I understand there is a collusion issue here and that has been bargained away in the CBA
I’m pretty sure affirmative action is a dying policy for most companies and governments

All that policy did was create more division. Treat all equal and evaluate all by the same measuring stick whether it’s work or our education system

That’s the only path to equality

If anyone disagrees, good!

It is and it should be a dying policy. God forbid the most qualified person is hired and for those organizations in which discriminate they miss out on a talented person.

That’s crazy. So every player who wants a job can threaten a lawsuit and get attention?
There is nothing they can do now that will have any impact on the lawsuit. You can unring a bell, on the long shot chance it was ever rung.

Those are young plauers being developed.
Kaepernick has proven he can’t be and isn’t good enough to win with.
If you have a time machine and can go back to before his gimmick offense was exposed and figured out and give him a top 3 d top 3 OL, great running game and some good weapons (and put his bead back in 2013) then bring him on.
Today he is simply a qb who can’t succeed in the NFL.

Once the NFL owners give up their phones that could result in many unintended consequences..
IF they have to give up anything if don’t be their phones it will be communication about kaepernick.

What is up with your spelling?? You usually are one of the more conscientious posters on this board.. a couple of your posts look sloppy
Writing on smart phone instead of computer. Many typos

That’s crazy. So every player who wants a job can threaten a lawsuit and get attention?

Did not say that, but apparently that is the contention of his lawsuit..

FYI Matt McGoin is in his 4th year in the NFL..

Meanwhile Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy, Josh Gordon et al have all been welcomed with open arms into the NFL after their transgressions.. it is a strange, perverted value system.

I am hoping that nothing is found...that no evidence exists to prove collusion

That is my hope. After all, why hope evidence DOES exist?
