Saints trade RB Peterson to Cardinals

Arizona has a terrible run blocking line, bottom 5. They are also the most pass happy team in general (71%) throwing from behind (76%) and in the red zone (76%)

It's a bad fit.

They've been playing without their RB1. While they were a big pass team (only 38% runs) last year, part of that was because Johnson is a back who does a lot of receiving out the the backfield. This year, with Johnson gone, they're only running about 31% of the time.

They obviously need someone to run the football.

I have no idea what he has left in the tank. I know that the Cardinals have no running game, and need a RB, though.

At the same time, the Cardinals as a team are averaging 2.6 YPC, which is somehow below Peterson's pathetic 3.0 YPC. So he might still be an upgrade.
