NFL Week 5 Games

For everyone shaking in their boots...the best team in week 5 isnt always the best team come december and vice versa

But thats the modus operandi for some folks here. They were worried about the Ravens, Dolphins and Denver last year. It was pretty funny.

I don’t see anyone on KC’a schedule that will be too tough. Oakland, denver and NYG should be easy for them.

Division games in the AFCW are definitely not gimmies.

This is like a real life version of the morons we have posting in the live threads. Amazing.

I can easily see some of the GDT All-Stars doing that...

Probably.

Well depends what he means. IF the Pats played them next week they probably would lose IMO. However we don't play them next week. If we play them again we play them in the playoffs. If both teams are equally healthy I think the Pat win for sure. They would have improved enough by then to do it.
December/January

Amazing series of unfortunate events for the Texans..

Watt has only played 8 games in the past two years, maybe he should spend some time with Alex Guerrero.. FYI he had no sacks this year in 5 games..

Then there were the Giants who lost Beckham, Shepard, Marshall and Harris tough to win football games with only one receiver..

The NFL "war of attrition" continues into week 5...

1-2 more serious injuries to KC players and they might get the Patriots 2015 experience.

This is pretty incredible:

Stolen from Pro Football Focus: Dallas center Travis Frederick has not allowed a sack in his last 1,658 pass blocks, since midseason 2014. That’s almost THREE full seasons of protecting Dallas quarterbacks on pass drops.

I *should have* completely destroyed my opponent in fantasy... but just about everybody underperformed. He's one of those numbnuts that didn't check for bye weeks, and didn't start a QB. I still only have him by about 10 points.

So I went out on the waiver wire and picked up Case Keenum to make sure he doesn't suddenly get religion tonight LOL

true, but they just annihilated a team that we beat by a field goal (despite what last night's score said, KC dominated houston). they are damn good.

Jacoby Biscuit now has 3 NFL wins under his belt and will probably achieve a few more until Luck comes back. Our little boy is growing up.

The Jaguars defense is on pace to give up 10 passing TDs in a season and the lowest passer rating since the 2009 Jets/2002 Bucs.

That team really needs to think about trading for Palmer/Rivers or something. That defense is nasty.

not really, at least in my opinion. they've never had a kareem hunt before.

They had Jamaal Charles, who was the best running back in football when healthy.

What they've really never had is Alex Smith playing out of his mind. Who knew he'd have a career renaissance at age 33? I still don't think it will last.

You mean the team that lost 2 of their 3 best defensive players early in the game, while Pats had to deal with all 3 all game and did it without their starting RT?

Solid comparison.

Also I don't recall the Pats defense allowing 5 TD passes to Watson.

Correct. Instead they had Jamaal Charles who in his prime was better.

KC is an incredibly streaky team. They very well might get HFA but that does not mean they are better than the Patriots.

What? In '13 Jamaal Charles had like 2000 combined yards and 20 TD. Also in '14 Charles and Knile Davis combined for 2000 yards and 21 TD

Wow.

I know Watt is cooked but I thought there might have been a chance for Mercilus to make it back mid Dec but not with a torn pec.

The NFL is a war of attrition.
