Short week..just needed a W...got it and now 10 days to rest and fix the issues.

Ugly or not, happy we won. With that being said, we lucked out. We easily could and would of lost this game if the Bucs got their field goals and Winston connected for that earlier touchdown where we were cooked. This game was more about them losing than us winning.

This team still has a lot of issues to work.

Either way, 3-2 baby.

Watching Brady taking a beating in this game I thought man, Id give Brady extra rest and consider sit him for a game, then I saw the next opponent is the Jets. I know its not going to happen but Id consider that..

Good game by the defense.
Without Gronk against a good defense we are doomed, Tampa's pass defense is bad and they had several players out for the game and we score only 16 points...Dorsett needs to get involved fast and get some 50 yards a game, we need that production. I hope Mitchell comes back from IR.

Lost a lot of respect for Steve Smith due to his postgame analysis. Weak, weak **** from a supposed "tough", "no excuses" type of guy.

Also, "Cyrus" Jones? Good lord.

We will see where this team's at when they face the falcons in two weeks. Not overlooking the jests but that game at home will tell us where we are as a team.

It doesn't work like that - if Folk had hit any of them, the Pats would have been calling different plays - like would have tried for that 52-yard FG earlier.

If the refs had called the obvious grounding out of the end zone, the game wasn't close.

I hate the 'what ifs'. There are always plays left out on the field. It didn't cost them tonight.

What if the Pats didn't commit so penalties? Game would have looked different.

The secondary played very well which is a major improvement from where we were. If we gave up more third downs I'd entertain the thought that we just lucked out keeping them to a low score. But they made a lot of stops.

Take the ugly win and get out of Tampa. The defense carried the offense tonight. Now both units need to put it together and get disciplined. Way too many extra opportunities given to the Bucs tonight on brain dead penalties.

Winston putting up good numbers on a decent giants secondary. Can only imagine what he will do against this secondary.

Pats D goes on the road and holds a team to 0.5 points higher than what the league best defense is allowing per game (and also 9 points lower than what they are averaging per game on offense) and they are whining because they gave up some yards when they were gassed at the end. How about instead of whining about the defense question McDaniels play calling in the 2nd half, averaging almost 5 yards a carry tonight and yet somehow they only ran it 23 times all game. Why is Brady doing elaborate hand off fakes on the TB side of the field ? Give it to Gillislee and Lewis 3 straight times and if you don't pick it up kudos to TB for stopping it. Same thing after the 3rd Folk miss, Gillislee falls for 5 yards and what does he call? a screen pass to Cooks that loses 2 yards and then it's 3rd and 7. Why the hell is 2nd and 5 not another run there?

Cooks quietly put together a decent statistical night - 5 catches, 85 yards and 17 ypc.

What the hell happened to Solder? He is doing a reverse Cannon from last year.

Romo must've said 3 times that Solder seems hurt. He missed the whole preseason, so this probably isn't off the mark. But, I bet we're not going to hear what the situation is for quite a while.

To be fair, some Patriots fans still say "what if" in our first SB against the Giants. Im not saying im not happy we won, just that Tampa made a lot of key errors.

Essentially that the Bucs lack of offensive success/the Patriots defensive success wasn't a result of improved play by the Patriots defense, but rather, due to a poorly thought out gameplan by Dirk Koetter.
