I agree. But it's not a "patch OL". It is an OL that is playing crappy - - but these are the guys BB and Scar have chosen. It's not like the team has been having to patch it up with bench players.

We tried for that smaller quick DT in Easley. It could’ve worked if not for injuries. I would love to find another one in the mold of a wilfork or ted washington that can take on multiple linemen freeing up other players
Well I was really looking forward to pissing on Cam Newton's so called apology. But I was disappointed when he came across as sincere. He didn't read from a script some PR flack gave him. I really liked when is said to people not to be like him, but be BETTER than him, because that WAS the correct message.
I'm sure he will continue to get killed for his misstatement. It was misogynistic. I think though he now knows the power of his own words. But it's not surprising. The leader of our country is a misogynist. Why should we expect anything else.
It was a bad play, but at the same time I don't think getting beat deep by DeSean Jackson is the most damning thing in the world. Butler was never going to go stride for stride with him on a go route. If anything I'm more surprised that the safety help wasn't there.
