NFL Week 4 Games

I don't understand stand them they two great throwback unit's with white or the yellow.

Apparently NFL rules wouldn’t let the Rams change their jersey color. Only helmet and pants. Odd.

Final: Saints 20, Dolphins 0

interception, six straight punts, turnover on downs, end of game.

3rd Down: Saints 6-13, Dolphins 1-8

Hyde: Ten thoughts on Dolphins' 20-0 loss to Saints

Next week the Fins play Tennessee, and then they are at Atlanta. Their only victory was thanks to San Diego missing the game winning field goal, while Miami's kicker making four FG. Right now it looks like they will finish behind the Jets.

Billieve it! Buffalo stuns Falcons in Atlanta, 23-17

The Bills turned in a tremendous effort on defense against one of the most prolific offenses in the league, albeit without Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu in the second half, and stunned Matt Ryan and the Falcons 23-17.

Buffalo improved to 3-1 and moved into first place in the AFC East as the Patriots lost at home to the Panthers. Let’s say that again: The Bills are in first place in the AFC East, ahead of the Patriots.

It was a huge performance for the defense, and it came down to a stop on fourth-and-1 from the Falcons 10 when Ryan threw incomplete to Taylor Gabriel in the right flat.

Pretty sure the Jets are about to win because they committed unsportsmanlike conduct against a Jaguar and the idiot refs somehow flagged the afflicted Jag for it instead of the Jet.

Edit: Yep Jets win... ridiculous. To clarify, the game was putrid and in overtime 20-20 with little time left. The Jags punt back to the Jets and a Jets player drills Jaguar Paul Posluzny out of bounds horribly and Posluzny jumps up pointing at the Jet who did this, and a flag is thrown. The announcers state how it’s against the Jets and how bad the hit was, etc... until the refs come out and state it’s against Posluzny! Apparently it’s unsportsmanlike conduct to be the victim of a horrible hit out of bounds. This gives the Jets 15 extra yards, and since the Jags were punting from within their own end zone, this meant the Jets were in chip shot FG range. Which they went on to hit and win.

AJ Derby with an amazing TD for Denver

My god I can't believe I'm going to ask this: Are the Jets for real? Too early?

AJ Derby showing Dwayne Allen what it means to NOT have hands of stone.

Rams 32, Cowboys 30: Dallas gets a touchdown but can't convert on three two-point attempts

James Hanna got the Cowboys back into the game with a 28-yard touchdown reception, his first of his career. Then things got interesting.

The Cowboys opted to go for the two-point conversion and at first appeared successful as quarterback Dak Prescott leaped into the end zone, but the play was called back on an offensive holding call.

Still down two, the Cowboys tried yet again and Prescott's pass was intercepted, only the Rams were then hit with a defensive holding penalty, giving Dallas another try. On the third attempt, Prescott couldn't get the ball into receiver Terrance Williams' hands.

Cowboys blow fast start, fall to Rams 35-30

It should not have been close at all. After leading by as much as 13 points early, the Dallas Cowboys managed to get badly outplayed in the second half to lose to the Los Angeles Rams by a final score of 35-30. Despite some early success, the Cowboys’ defense, missing Sean Lee, seemed to wear down at the same time the Rams’ offense began to find its footing. And parallel to this, the Dallas offense, which had been excellent in the first half, suddenly began to struggle, unable to convert third downs.

Things were sealed when Dak Prescott tried to convert a third and nine, with the team down by five, only to have it tipped and intercepted at Dallas’ own 29 yard line. Although the Cowboys were able to hold them to a field goal, it made the lead eight points, and with less than ten minutes left in the game...
