Why him over JG?
I'm just curious because I never saw a reason to root for Jacoby over any other backup we've had

especially if he has residual effects from his shoulder damageQB controversy in Indy? Maybe a few more wins and Luck's massive contract won't look so appealing.
Oh wait....... it's already started............

It seems like it should be a joke. But if you extended Brisset's performance out to a full season only 2/5 of Luck's seasons would be clearly better
And remember Brissett is handicapped by not having had an offseason with the colts.
What will suck will be the fact that he was traded to a conference rival. If they end up flipping Jacoby for a 2nd rounder or he becomes their starter of the future and they trade Luck for a 1st rounder well....that'll suck.
You think Brissett and the Colts are going to march into SEA and pull off that kind of upset? Wow. If so, the Seahawks really do suck this year. Personally, I think their defense steps up this week.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again...We traded the wrong backup.
Betcha $100 bucks Jacoby Wan Kanobi has a better NFL career than Jimmy G.
I can’t believe it’s a thirteen point spread right now in Seattle. They suck this year! I like colts outright for the upset Sunday night.

Dorsett looked serviceable last week. Too bad he probably won't get many opportunities barring injury. Either way, he looks like someone who they may be able to build upon with more time. We'll have to revisit this trade down the road a bit.
In a hypothetical where Jacoby pans out as a bonafide starter that's an awfully high bar for a WR to hit in terms of being of comparable value. I'm not down on Dorsett in the least and I'm excited to have him here but if he washes out and the Colts end up the winner that will sting for all the obvious reasons.
