I was absolutely disgusted. First time I think I actually ever cheered for a Jet when Pennington got back out there. The fans actually started cheering when pennington fell to his knees after trying to walk it off. Completely classless by those fans.

BTW, Clemons looked pretty bad when he got in there. Don't know what they were so excited about.

I'm not convinced they were cheering Chad's injury. Those who were are obviously a**holes, however I think the majority were cheering Chad's efforts to get off the field.

Pennington is a gamer. Call him noodle arm or whatever, but I do not like to go up against him. The fans know he's game, and were cheering at him as he tried to get to the sidelines. They were not booing him. Of course, the diickheads that logged on here trumpeting the greatness of Thomas Jones and the gayness of Brady will not show up to acknowledge their shortcomings.

I didn't think they were cheering him having to leave the game. He was actually putting together a nice drive.

I thought they were cheering him trying to get up and go on, and then pumping Clemens up.

Maybe I sound like a Jests apologist, but it wasn't like Chad was stinking the field up at that point and needed to be taken out.

I've read a couple of threads over to Jetsinsider. Most of the posters there,no all, were disgusted by the cheering when Penny was injured.

Some were making excuses, but 85% were disgusted by that.

And I was watching the game with a bunch of Pats fans, some of whom jumped out of their seats and started cheering when Pennington got hurt.

Let's not generalize. Some Jets fans are jerks to be sure, but that doesn't make all of them jerks. Same with Pats fans.

Knowing what that kid has gone thru these past few years, I actually found myself yelling "Oh no"and "Hope he's going to be ok"! when he got hurt. Couldn't believe the fans reactions!

Tony didn't get hurt. He was a f**king soft p*ssy who pulled himself out of the game so that he wouldn't get hurt by the Bears.

Ya and I would do it again - the difference is Pennington has heart ,Eason had NONE. Biggest About the only coaching error made by Berry that year was not starting Grogan.
