NFL Week 1 Games

Yup. Plus Miller jumping the gun as usual.

Miller is an amazing player with the best explosive first step I have seen in the past 10 years. Let's give credit where credits due. Had Malcolm Brown exploded into the QB like that, we'd be praising him big time

Maybe twitter feminists who are watching their first football game, only praising Mowins for having a vagina.
It took me awhile to get used to. I'm not going to lie. But after some time, I really didn't notice that much, and considering that she basically had a plastic dummy sitting next to her who made zero contributions, I think she did better than I initially expected.

Didn't watch the Game, but did the Chargers choke again in the fourth quarter? Different year, same team.

They actually made a dramatic comeback down 24-7 in the final quarter where DEN had a 175-0-1 record when having a 4th quarter lead of 17+.

They had a rookie kicker make a game tying FG which would've sent the game into OT, but the Broncos coach had done one of those lame ass last second timeouts, right as they were snapping the ball. The following attempt was blocked.

Beth Mowins?...where they'd find her? the greens keeper's assistant at Augusta National? Keep mowin down them cliches' and soon you'll be starring opposite Tony Dungy in "The Price Ain't Right".

Generally some pretty piss poor football this weekend by all teams, with the exception maybe being KC, but Im not even sure about that. Probably one of the worst opening weekends I have ever seen. Lets see how the chips fall, I think some teams are going to improve faster than others, NE being one. But next week will be tough because neither NE or NO can afford to go 0-2.

From what I saw if you can't pressure Brees he is going to get someone the ball.

Agreed and with 2 backup tackles...no excuse for the Pats to not get pressure.

When they showed that 1-155 record for the Chargers when down by 17+ in the fourth, I knew that one was over. Today is 9/11. 911 = 156th prime. That was the Broncos 911th all time game (playoffs + regular season).

9+11+20+17=57 (Brees received road loss #57 in the regular season)

Sean Payton received 67th loss and that is the 19th prime, saints scored 19 points.

Sean Payton's birthday is 109 days after the game, 109 is the 29th prime and vikings scored 29 points. Bradford was 10900 days old on 9/11.

Well duh, who didn't see that?o_O

Also in the MLB game last night, Indians scored 11 on the 11th and had 11 hits to the Tigers' 9. The Winning Pitcher pushed his record to 15-6. 911 the 156th prime.

The Pats can afford it. They could probably win the division at 8-8.

I have no doubts about the division. We are better than those teams. Miami could be tough. I am looking at the bigger picture. Being 0-2 with still a lot of tough games on the schedule. Teams like the chiefs and saints this team should beat. If we lose i can see maybe a 11-5 or 10-6 season winning the division and having to play the first week of the playoffs.

Speaking of commentators, Tony Romo looks like he did quite well in his debut

The late, great Hank Stram used to predict the next play-call quite often, and that was one of the reasons I used to enjoy listening to him.

Betcha she's a Carpet Mower too, which is likely the main reason she got the gig.

All true but the first goal is to win the division or make the playoffs. Remember all the "bend don't break" talk about the defense last year? Remember the reaction after Collins was traded? And they ended up winning a SB. Not saying that's what'll happen this year but the team will get better one way or another. Should be fun to watch.
