Thinking we'll nab a cheap vet CB as depth before the season starts. I hear that Revis guy is available.

This is better than the falcons comeback

Foster makes it I am not gonna miss Cyrus.

Biscuit Time again.

Kenny Moore with the PBU. Still fighting for a spot. Gonna be down to the wire.

Lets goooooooo

Except Lucien gets better separation on man coverage than Carr, and he's way more of a deep threat. Lucien looks like he can take it to the house. Carr lacks physical tools, his 20 yard shuttle is nowhere near what a 09 Edelman was. Don't know if he could ever become a good NFL slot WE

Which is why I didn't use Edelman as a comp. I used Amendola:

Player A: 6'0, 202, 4.62 40, 2.62 20, 1.60 10, 33.5" vert, 9'08" broad jump, 4.07 shuttle, 6.70 3 cone -- assume the shuttle, broad jump and 3 cone are a bit generous since they're pro days rather than combine

Player B: 5'10, 183, 4.58 40, 2.67 20, 1.56 10, 31.5" vert, 8'07" broad jump, 4.25 shuttle, 6.81 3 cone.

A is Carr, B is Amendola. When you consider that Amendola has certainly lost a step (at least) since 2013, I think it's reasonable to say that Austin Carr has him at least matched in quickness and has a considerable advantage in size. That's not to say he's the better player, because experience does count for quite a bit, but Carr's a lottery ticket worth buying.

Lucien doesn't do any one thing well enough to suggest he's better than Chris Harper, based on what I've seen. A couple years ago, people here were saying all the same things about Harper that they're saying about Lucien now, and for all the same reasons. But look at Harper now: he's WR4 (at best) on the worst receiver corps that any NFL team has fielded in the last decade.

Lucien is good enough to be a serviceable deep threat against guys who will be selling insurance this time next month. Put him against NFL corners and he doesn't get that step, because the main reason he got it in the first place was because he was going against a guy who's a step too slow to make it in his own right.

Lucien does more things than Carr, but he doesn't do anything as well as what Carr does best.

JB trying to get an Edelman catch added to his resume

Good fight by Hollister after the catch to get in the end zone. And as Chatham pointed out, good blitz pick up by Foster.
Exactly!! For the coaching staff picking up blitzers may b even more important than yards pickup

Okay, that was a pretty bad throw. That's not what we want to see. Made it up for with that beauty to Lucien though!
