Reading BSJ. Bedard had some positive notes on him.

A couple of sacks one of which included "blowing up" the pass protecting RB and later defended a pass intended for a TE. Btw: First team reps.

It would be good to know how well he's doing in ST.

How can the guy who gets replaced for parts of every season be less replacable than the WR who played the most snaps in a SB in SB history?

Agreed hogan played 98% of offensive snaps in super bowl, Amendola only played 45%

There's no doubt hogan is more important right now to the NE offense

Two words: Dante Scarnecchia

No let's give Cannon credit here. He's always been naturally very strong, and talented. Scar helped a lot, but Cannon simply got better and reached his potential

Even scar can't fix lineman like waddle and Fleming.

@NG Pats Fan

Just to be clear. That's not what he said.

He wasn't grading player vs player. Or saying Hogan sucked. Or saying Amendola was better. He was talking about positional responsibility vs positional responsibility and which would be tougher to replace.

To be honest I haven't even tracked a single play of his. But now that's it's on my radar I'm going to pay a little more attention next game. Could be one of those out of nowhere guys.

Now we know why he wasn't there yesterday.

Positional responsibility it still clearly favors hogan in my eyes.

Yep.

Jim pays props to Tom and that is goodness. He also knows the angst TB12 harbors against UoM and ripped a fundraising staffer a new one for trying to syphon money out of Tom.

What do you mean? Link?

One poster here Luuked thinks Hogan is more replaceable than Amendola lol

I could see hogan Putting up probowl Caliber numbers honestly, he's really good

Zero reading comprehension. Stop misrepresenting what I said.

Well I'm not going to argue his argument because it's not mine. I just wanted to make sure it was understood that he wasn't saying Amendola > Hogan.

He thinks all positions are equally valuable to an extent.

He thinks Amendola's role would be more difficult to replace than Hogan's. Because Mitchell and Cooks could possibly effectively absorb Hogan's role which in theory makes him more redundant than Amendola.

Personally I thought the debate in the other thread was interesting but I would have considered a draw. Both sides had good points. And at a minimum I thought looking at the WR corp the way he does pretty interesting.

While we have heard slight variations on how effective Ealy has been so far this is the one I trust most so far:

Dussault is usually pretty good in his observations.
