Zeke Elliot suspended 6 games.

please God let it happen!

good thing is Jerry Jones is definitely a candidate to go Al Davis on Goodell. Jerry thinks the Cowboys are above the NFL and has the ego to take on this fight.

he doesnt care about burning bridges, all he cares about is the Dallas Cowboys

Goodell vs. Jerry Jones?

I'll root for the meteor. Whoever comes out of this will wind up solidifying their hold on the NFL, and I don't like either choice.

I almost always give the woman the strong benefit of the doubt in domestic violence situations (and I'm not trying to start a dumb internet argument about this, I know there are plenty of people on here who disagree with me).

But with Elliot something seems really wrong about this. Did I miss something or has every story about this said that the cops and witnesses are having a really hard time coming up with evidence, or otherwise demonstrating that there's a good chance that Elliot did anything? I'm not following it closely, but almost every other DV case in the NFL seems to be much more cut and dry than this one.

Though I think the problem here is it sounds like Elliot actually did what he was accused of, and the punishment is in line with what was previously established.

Whereas what Brady was accused of didn't happen. And even if it had the established punishment was a $25,000 fine.

Goodell is alienating more owners. This is good
Now now Jerry, didn't you counsel one Bob Kraft to accept his punishment from the league?

If you're mad that a guy is punished for domestic violence you are a sick bastard & a terrible person. $$$$$$ over everything for Jerry. F him.
F him, but I'm all for him turning against the Commissioner.

Jones is "furious." That word sounds familiar. Maybe it's this week's big-mouth word.

Sounds like a broken record

I hate to step on McCann's toes because he's a well-respected professional lawyer and I'm not, and also because I know (or knew) him personally, but technically he's wrong there. The Court ruled that Goodell *as arbitrator* can have the wrong conclusion but still be legal. This is Goodell as league discipline chief (i.e. first step). If Elliot appeals and Goodell chooses not to be the arbitrator, the arbitrator may then decide Goodell's conclusion is wrong and then overturn him.

Article 46 > Evidence

What in the world was Josh Brown's punishment based on? How could Goodell possibly explain that? Brown admitted in court he beat his wife, appears the courts couldn't reach a conclusion on Elliot so why is the NFL?

This is a bunch of bull crap! 6 games with absolutely no evidence of domestic violence? This is a witch hunt! Plain and simple.

Cowboys fans need to revolt, not buy any NFL products and petition against all NFL sponsors. Hurt the NFL in it's pockets! Also, all Cowboys fans need to demand for Roger Goodell to step down or be replaced IMMEDIATELY!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Dallas Cowboys

A witch hunt you say...
