USA Today predicts Patriots go undefeated

I was going to wait until we do the annual "predict each game" thread, but 16-0 is my prediction as well. Injuries could affect that, but the amount, severity, etc., of injuries is something that no one can predict. Even so, I think they are better equipped to deal with injuries this season.

I don't go into seasons hoping for 19-0 but since it could be the last thing Don Shula remembers I may just have to do so this year.

Think most of us learned from 2007 that 16-0, unless it becomes 19-0, is not satisfying.
Hell, 2007 only ranks as the 6th best season in the Brady/BB era, at best.
Now, 19-0-THAT would be awesome.
But all I really care about is winning Lombardi's.

Even if the Pats right now had a 95% chance of victory in each game, the odds of going undefeated are sub 40%.

It's quite a feat.

So what you are saying is - I have 9 white balls and a red ball and put them all in a bag and shake the bag and reach in and chose one. There is only a 13% chance that I dont pick the red ball at least once if I do this 19 times.
