Sports Radio and News ... just trying to get people to click or watch. Me personally find this whole charity thing a little shady but I bet its common place for this type of stuff.

I don't hold athletes on a pedestal, there human beings and full of **** most of the time. With that said I actually do think Brady is a good guy but I don't give a **** if he is or isn't.. he is the GOAT.

My more conspiratorial side of me thinks this is some kind of media manipulation to paint Brady as a ... well as a jerk I suppose. Maybe a bit shady or greedy all because Bill told the media to start nipping at Brady's public perception so when I have to switch to Jimmy after the year people dislike him anyway lol.. JK. sorta.

Then, of course, he finishes by using the following adjectives to describe Best Buddies' behavior: " hostile" and "petty.". Pot, meet kettle...

Did the Globe have a reporter there (in case Brady spoke to the press)? I bet the Globe has been dishonest about what happened. I bet they applied for media credentials (Best Buddies is a big event) and they were turned down. They sent a photographer anyways - as is their right. But they were not surprised when he was sent home and they did not share that info with their readers.

It was the Globe that published doctored porn photos and claimed they were our soldiers gang-raping an Iraqi woman. Misrepresenting the facts about a cancelled invitation to a Best Buddies event is chump change compared to that billion dollar baby.

My thoughts exactly.. the thing that makes me despise the media the most is their grandiose attitudes like they themselves are bigger than the sport that they cover

All that, and they would still be in the playoffs if the season ended today. That team has issues

Lineup power
Loss of Wright makes rotation thin
Pedroia seems to be having an injury season

but to say it's in deep doodoo is taking it way too far.

Plus, the Yankees are playing way, way over their heads. They got an unexpected lift from Judge, but they don't have the pitching to sustain what they're doing.
