• Have multiple relievers who've yet to pitch in a game, due to injury
• Have a rookie who's slumping hard, when he was penciled in as a top hitter
• Haven't yet fully adjusted to the loss of Ortiz in the lineup

All that, and they would still be in the playoffs if the season ended today. That team has issues

Pedroia seems to be having an injury season

I don't have a problem with media members defending their own. The problem I have is that they very, very rarely criticize one another, even when it's warranted. And it was warranted here. Hohler's piece was a hit-job smear. That's what Hohler does, it's his specialty. And while this most recent one was Patriots-related, he's pretty much been a non-discriminatory douchebag all along. He'll cheap-shot anyone.
