Agree that the Patriots don't owe the Lloyd's a cent and any compensation should come from the Hernandez estate. (We'll see how that goes)

Do you know Lloyd's mother personally?
I'm glad to see a lot of people agree with this sentiment. I said this the other day in fear people would bug at me

I dont want to sound like a unremorseful A**hole here, so if i do I apologize. But why is Lloyds family entitled to hernandez money. What I am saying is I dont understand why they are even in consideration to get anything

Because in addition to killing Lloyd, Hernandez almost definitely committed the tort of "wrongful death". Lloyd's family damn well should try to get money from Hernandez's estate.

Though if they attempt to get anything out of NE the reponse from NE should be (a polite) "talk to the hand". That's just BS.

Yeah that's what I'm talkin about. They are trying to get money from the pats. That's ridiculous. We don't own them a dime

No I don't know her at all. She may be a great lady but I don't find her and her lawyer making a public challenge for money the day after a 27 year old man killed himself isn't very tasteful even if that man killed her son.

Shanaya Liar Jenkins Liar Hernandez must not be to upset her fiancé committed suicide as all she seems to be thinking about is how much $$$$ she can get by suing everyone and anything.

Something tells me that this was something AH and her cooked up so she could recoup all of the money owed.

Her testimony in the double murder was weird and off as she had a sudden case of amnesia.

If it was up to me her *** would be in jail.

No one deserves anything in this case. If I got fired for murdering someone does that mean my wife, family and everyone else gets my paycheck every week?

Anonymous sources talking about a dead man aren't worth a damn and it's telling that the only outlets with these sources are the NY Post and Newsweek, two periodicals where the ink has ruined perfectly good toilet paper.

Speechless. Wow.

If this does proceed to some sort of litigation the details will be compelling: Was the last conversation between Shanya Jenkins and AH recorded?? Were there any other phone calls?? If so did Shanya know of his pending plan?? What was in the actual notes he left?? Did he inscribe John 3:16 on his forehead?? Did he tell other inmates whether he was planning this?? Was there a mental health evaluation done on Easter Weekend?? Was he checked after he went into his cell(difficult to believe he was not)??... Every action outside of his cell is on CCTV and every action in his cell is probably recorded after he was found..

I used to work corrections, and unfortunately was involved in a couple of similar sitz, press can say whatever they want to say, but the Mas DOC usually do not say much which invites a lot of speculation disguised a free speech... CO's can possibly become civilly or criminally liable if they did not do their job... was always told the most heinous sins were those of omission.

Warning there is a Borges article in rolling stone in this link.

Me thinks the timing and weirdness of prisoner's departure a wee bit 'spicious.

In a maximum security facility laden with CCTV, how do you suggest that "alleged and unnamed" people enter his cell, subdue him and hang him and then jam the door on the way out?? If there was a murder there would be physical signs of a struggle and marks on his body..

Can you imagine how much force it would take to subdue a struggling AH??

It's easy to throw accusations at dead people, they tend to not be able to answer them.

Journalism today is one of the most disgusting professions. I know whores who have much better morals.

You really have to ask yourself, who do these stories benefit?

Those prostitutes, always going around killing and robbing.

Well, first, it benefits the company SELLING the news. Second, what evidence do you have the story is false?

Therefore, we should produce stories about dead people because money trumps everything else.

What could be litigated?

Geez, just when I get my plot outline set in chronological order for my movie of the week script, new rumours and theories make me have to reload. This could be of "Fall of the Roman Empire" epicness by the time I get through. May have to have my kids ready to take over if I cannot complete
