There's only one player I would 'follow' to another team and that's the GOAT.

I would root heavily for any new team he played for except New England, and I've never rooted for any NFL team besides the Patriots (except the 49ers, I was a bandwagon jumper before age 10).

Hopefully it never comes to that though. It would be f'n weird if we ever had to play against him.

Respect for riding on the Burkhead bus though; in fact, I would say you're driving that one.

So you are rooting for whichever team employs a running back who up until now has averaged 1.4 carries for 5.9 yards per game over the span of all games where he was eligible to play? Sounds like some dry years. What will happen when Burkhead retires?

I've only been a Patriot fan, but there have been guys who grew up near my hometown and one guy that I knew well in college who played in the NFL, and I sure adopted the teams that those guys played on as secondary teams to support (but not when playing the Patriots). Luckily none of those guys ever played for the Jets or Colts. Some were backups that were obscure.

Big Falcon fan all my life. Disappointed over and over. When Pats scored and made it 28-20 I knew it was over. Lol. Jeez it's the Falcons right? I saw something in this guy at the citrus bowl.
