Need a bruising RB... But who?

I'm a fan, not a guy who plays a GM on a forum. Lynch is a jerk: I can't root for him. Blount seems like a good egg, he had a good season, and I'd like to see him back.
I respect that, but do not agree.

This is Rex Buckhead's Pats Fans account isn't it? You can admit it, we're all friends here.

Seriously though, I hope you are right. Haven't watched him enough to know.
That's my boy man!
I was on that boat before the Pats even brought him in.
I gotta stand by my guy!

It's nice to talk about anything that isn't Malcolm Butler, right now.
Trying to engage in other conversation.
Respect the hell outta all you guys, even though we don't agree on everything, but we're all here for the same reason.

Rex Burkhead is perfect for this offense. He runs like Stevan Ridley, really quick to the hole, hits hard, will get what's there every time. And he doesn't fumble and he runs WR routes as well. He's perfect for this team.

Rex fumbled 2x.

LeGarrette Blount. Carrying the load. I'll take him all day.

Arizona.

At Miami: (Believe it or not Blount is in the middle of the pile of 7 Miami defenders)

Against Pittsburgh AFCCG:

First Contact:

At the five with five Steelers on him:

Still at the five with 7 Steelers on him.

And he makes it to the One yard line.

You're not gonna show all the no gains, and negative runs?
I recall many.
That Steelers D had mailed it in at those points.

^yup, you occasionally saw Blount carrying people when he got up a head of steam.....but too often I saw him get stuffed at or behind the line of scrimmage. Don't need him now.

You should have talked to me after the 2015 season because then you would have had a point. But last season Blount was more than adequate.

Respect man, but i'm not seeing anything he brings to the table that would be an upgrade to what they have now.

I know. 18 TD's is easy to replicate.

I'm not saying he's Earl Campbell but Blount ran hard last season. If you draft a guy I'm not sure your going to get a whole lot more than what you would get with Blount.

I'm not even talking bout drafting a guy for THIS YEAR. if the Pats draft one I think it's gonna be for 2 years from now, because Burkhead is our guy this year.
And those 18 TD's are a mirage, my friend. Blount did not magically find the fountain of youth.

It appears many just don't understand this...

Disagrees, and dislikes don't change reality. I embrace the hate!

Whenever I watch Blount I always think "He's got that Antowain Smith strength" in those down and dirty underneath the pile moments.

They are totally different backs but they both had that same ability to just get those extra inches when you think there is no way they have that much strength. They don't always get yards, sometimes they get stuffed way behind the line but if they get to that spot and all they need is a push for two inches, damn. It seems like that type of back will move mountains once they get low and decide it's going to happen.

They need at least one guy like that each year, Bill always tries to make sure they have that.

This guy went to the Steelers...The ****in Steelers! After the first go round...Does anyone understand that?! And they cut his ass mid season cause he quit on them, and Bill re signed him cause he was available, and better than what was in house...That's the only reason he was here. MORE than replaceable, unless he wants to come back for the minimum.

Finding the fountain of youth, no. Dropping 10-15 pounds while working with a trainer to improve quickness and technique, yes. I hope he's back, but considering what they paid Burkhead for a one year deal, I think they'll pass on Blount and draft a RB.
