Goodell is a doucheNo when Godell Removed our HC, picks and our key players we had to pay for free high priced players to replace what was destroyed. It pretty much wrecked the team. Lumas was suspended and not allowed to talk to the saints, so we bought guys to fill the gaps. That created a cap hell that we are still dealing with bad signings. I agree that Malcolm is not the answer. So, so by farming only picks for D makes sense. I think, and you really got an amazing talent for the future. Cooks wont let you down, just give him slack first 1-3 games because hes on grass and the weather, but he will work out well.
I like hogan. Not sure why folks say, now brady has a vertical threat....
Not sure if it's an NFL rule but in the NBA you can't do deals like that. That's why the Celtics couldn't trade Doc Rivers and KG to the Clippers. Not sure if you can connect seperate deals. One tweet that Butler still could be traded and Saints fans seem to have come to the conclusion that there's a wink wink, nudge nudge deal that he's going to them as soon as he signs his tender. Which if you're Butler why take away the only leverage that you have?
Anyway, I don't think they tendered him at the 1st round level to take less for him later.
That package swap a 3rd for a 4th would never have cost 32 to 18 in the first round which is the difference between our 32 and the Titans pick at 18. If the Titans offered that 18, then the Saints took less from us so far.
One one thing was speed in the WRs corps. That won't be a problem with this guy. I watched a highlight video of him, he flat out runs away from DBs. Running those WRs screens, he gets the tiniest crease, he's gone.I wonder exactly what Atlanta expose. Are you forgetting we put almost 600 yds of offense on them DESPITE sucking in the first half. And all Houston exposed is we might need some OL help. How did this trade help us with that?
FWIW, whomever this person is....they nailed it.
Come on, I love Cooks, but he's not better than Julio Jones.Cooks basicly has the the same system in NO that NE has, I dont expect the trasition to be that hard. Id be more worried about him getting used to the weather lol. Hes a machine, and truthfully I think hes better than julio jones falcons. He has a very good RB ability after the ball and doesnt play around, his head goes strait up field if you watch him and he runs for his life. Not like you see showboaters do. Look on youtube, youll see what I mean.
Im glad he found the best home. He's going to be a favorite in NE. Good Kid.
Id lean to Dillion but RB abilitySounds like a Corey Dillon or Randy Moss
I can live with that.
Looks like the pats are gonna stay home on draft day 1. Lol.
Damn I hate giving up that first round pick. If we keep High and Butler tho damn son.
Well Danny better be willing to play for the vet min or bye bye :/
Well maybe BB doesn't like waiting all day and picking leftovers at the end of the round.
Also, there are rumors with the theft of the Pats 1st round pick last year, BB stayed home and had more time to help Linda with her, award winning, antique roses.
BB loved the experience so much he has decided to win the Superbowl every year and trade out of the 1st round.
