You Can Now Eat Like Tom Brady

All you need to do to eat somewhat healthy is an apple and or a banana for breakfast.
A light lunch. And make sure you eat some steamed vegetables with your dinner.

I literally ate microwave dinners, burritos and subs/pizza for supper every night for years.

Since November I added fruits and steamed fresh veggies to my diet. All I have to say is what a difference.

The amazing thing is that he's built this meal plan around very basic, inexpensive foods and turned them into something fancy and expensive. Quinoa is great stuff; my wife and I use it as a fast food (add vegis and meat of your choice to a bowl and you've got a healthy, quick dinner). But it costs about a quarter to make it the center of a meal. And it is a peasant's food in its native countries. But Tom's turned it into a rich man's food. Turnips? Kale? For centuries were the foods of poor southerners. Amazing what marketing can do.

Outstanding insight, Ivan. A lot of what he's doing makes sense now. Every bit of football fame he gets is part of a larger plan, conceived of in the context of his wife's understanding of marketing and branding.

Their publicly disclosed conversation about her wanting him to retire, and his reply of "sorry hon, having too much fun" can now be understood as part of the marketing plan.

I think one aspect of Brady playing to 44-45 that is being overlooked is that everything he is accomplishing is critical to his brand going forward. Everything Brady is doing off the field is part of creating the TB12 brand, and everything he achieves on the field demonstrates that the products they create actually work in practice. Brady is the proof that people who want to maintain a level of excellence that goes beyond a normal athletes career will benefit from his programs and products. And any season he has like last season just advances the TB12 brand. And while Brady is as committed to winning as anyone can be he benefits both now and after football by proving all those who are buying into Kellermans "cliff" crap wrong, and continuing to play like he has the past 16 years will do more for the TB12 brand than anything on the outside of football could.

$13 meal does sound expensive until you realize that you spend that going out to dinner..

I would want to do this except I have a food allergy that precludes me from eating broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage, bok choy, kale, turnips and radishes.

there's always parsnips

lets see.......a pile of weeds vs chicken fried steak smothered in mushroom/bacon gravy

I eat pretty clean for the most part (just finally cut PB out), but I'm not quite sure this is my style. I definitely see the benefits and what he's going for here.

I like that he's hawking good, clean food as opposed to Bud Light and Papa John's "Pizza".

Yeah, and Tom genuinely feels he's benefitted enormously from the diet...it clearly means a lot to him

I own the TB12 nutrition manual and I find the winter meals in there to be some of the least attractive. That's what I assume they're shipping now.

Spring, summer and fall have a lot better looking meals though.

Of course, the desserts & snacks are the best part of the book.

When I saw the thread title, I thought there would be a link for mail-order supermodels.

I'm seriously considering eating his meals for a week.

Wonder if they take substitutes like meatball subs and key lime pie

I put my rabbit on the TB12 diet and I can definitely tell that he's been hopping higher.

Expect you in training camp to compete for backup QB spot.
