OT: Rumored 3-way trade between 49ers, Skins, and Cowboys

Rapoport is way over his head in this job. If this deal were to happen it would be massive draft picks to Washington and minimal picks to Dallas.

The best thing Dallas should expect from that trade is cap relief.
And the ability to get something for Romo, without being forced to simply cut him.

One can argue that they'll also be weakening a division rival by having Cousins removed.

Everyone at the combine clearly playing Chinese whispers and Rapoport was the final messenger!

Man what do the Redskins even get out of that? They'd be getting jipped big time.

Cousins is making $24,000,000 this year (2nd franchise) and they have ZERO leverage over him after that. He is, right now, the most expensive 1-year rental in NFL history.

The Redskins should stop the madness and just pay Cousins, Tony Romo is one more hit from it all being over.

Why would you trade a 28 year old who has had some nice games but come up short in big games for a 36 year old who's come up short in big games and has a bad back and shoulder.

Might be the dumbest idea ever by Washington.

No one is giving them anything real for romo. They cannot keep him.

Citing "several people within the sport," the Washington Post reports there is "growing sentiment" Tony Romo could land with the Texans.

Despite rumors Romo could land in D.C. the Post's Mike Jones tweeted Friday that the Skins flatly "don't want" him.

That may be what it is. We won't know unless the deal goes down and we see draft picks, but as an example, I could see this as San Fran gives up something like a 2nd and 4th this year, next year's 1st for Cousins. Washington takes the 4th and flips it to Dallas for Romo.

San Fran gets their QB, Washington gets a decent replacement, $10M in savings, and some draft picks, while the Cowboys get a bit of cap relief and a decent draft pick for a guy they were going to cut anyways.

2 girls + 1 cup
Believe it or not, it was my wife who forced me to watch that. I dry heaved for about 60 seconds straight, afterwards. When I continued the curse by forcing a buddy to watch it, he actually got genuinely pissed off.

This seems to be a variation on a rumor originally involving Grappolo and not Romo.

Get to Murphy's for a game this year?
Unfamiliar with Murphys. Watched most games at Capitol Lounge. Don't know how they worked it but they had free beer and no cover for the Super Bowl.

Good for the 'Skins and good for the Texans only because Romo would still be an upgrade for them even in his condition.
