#CLOWNOUT

Erika Nardini (Barstool CEO) just tweeted this out:

Check out @EKANardini's Tweet:

I tried to get a response last night from Erica about #clownout and if it is possible to get 60000+ shirts from Barstool, but didn't get a response. Maybe if a few more people respond to her tweet we will get an answer. It would be great publicity for Barstool and revenge for Portnoy on Goodell. I also did a quick check on Customink because I was just curious as to the price for 60000 shirts, I think it ended up costing about $225,000 for shirts printed using 3 colors. I just thought I'd look in to it while waiting for Ian's idea.

Most public protest are unrealistic or wouldn't work. This is AMAZING and HAS to happen. I would love to pitch in 50 bucks in a gofundme and would happily volunteer to pass out shirts. Please please please please please make #clownout happen

Me too. I would gladly contribute 50 bucks to this. @Ian

I've been coming to this site for a while, and just joined. Pretty good stuff from a lot of devoted fans...except for those at halftime of the Super Bowl that were asking for Garroppolo...
Anyways, I own a t-shirt company and used to print for Portnoy (Revis Island, Ball Don't Lie, Straight Cash Homie are some we did)...our largest customer orders 300k shirts a year and has a store at Patriot Place. Best case, cost of printing and shirts would be around $2.50/each...the biggest logistical problem would be disbursement of the shirts.

Think of a 53 foot tractor trailer with roughly 30 pallets, with 30 boxes per pallet, 72 shirts per box to disperse...

Am I the only one who thinks the Pats just beat Goodell in the best possible way and we should now just move on?

I'm sure there are other people who think we should move on, but I'm not one of them.

To me, it's like if my neighbor decided to vandalize my car. But the next day I just happened to win a new car in a raffle. Does that mean I should just forget what my neighbor did and move on?

That's great. Just make sure there's an XXL in there otherwise it might become counterproductive. :D

We'll move on when we get our draft picks back plus 2 1st round picks as compensation for dragging Tom Brady's name through the mud.

Great name. "Roger that". hahaha

We've moved on. It's just a friendly reminder. "Hey Roger!! You're an F'ing Clown." "Oh, and you lost". That's all.

I have no shot at getting to that game but would definitely support gofundme. I agree that the logistics of this would be the hardest part and that the Pats Org should not be seen as driving this. This is for fans by fans.

Hmmm. Not sure if that analogy really holds.

I think it would be more like if a boss tried to impose some unfair penalty on an employee, who ended up making more money the next year than anyone else in the company ever had and had to be rewarded a big bonus check by the boss in front of everyone or something. I don't know. And then instead of enjoying a Caribbean vacation with his hot girlfriend the employee decided to spend all his time thinking about ways to torture the boss. I don't know. F him, you know? Who cares? Don't let them occupy any space in your head anymore. I mean, if people want to do it more power to you, but I'm on that beach.

Great post.

I don't equate wearing a clown shirt to letting him occupy any space in my head. I do think we occupy a space in his head. I'm done with Defame gate. Roger started it and Brady/BB finished it. He lost. I'm enjoying every minute of it. They're seething. I'm elated. I'm going to wear a clown shirt.

Still working on talking to some people and this is going to a little time and some emails, so give me a bit. ;)
Another idea, and it'd take some doing knowing where people are sitting.

You know how they hand out paper for fans to hold up so it creates an image. Do that for a whole section to create the Goodell Clown image too...even if it doesn't get camera time, it would light the twittervewrse up.

And it'd be even cheaper (than shirts, though those can be reused) if done right.

Love that idea, but choreographing that would be impossible without the team's involvement to get the seat maps of all the ticket holders, or full access to place them before the gates open.

Needless to say, highly doubtful :(

just need to have pre-coordination. Heck you could even out their seat nunbers on the back so they would know they had the right piece.

Put them in order, take the one on the top and pass it down. But, getting everyone to buy into it would be unlikely...but it'd be a powerful display and if there's a section of mostly season ticket holders it might work as it could be planned, but they'd have to be huge signs and unlikely to get them past security.

Yes, but you'd have to know the seat numbers for the tickets and then try and chart it from the outside. I think it would be really tough to do it right. The goal would be to do both sides of the field...I just think it would be really tough to pull off. Although, again, I love the idea ;)
