HAVE to win this one

No due disrespect but the Mayans had a ball-court game. There was a vertical hoop, like a basketball hoop set sideways, about 8 feet off the ground. You couldn't touch the ball with your hands, feet, or head. And if you lost they cut out your heart and held it up in the air.

That's a must-win game.

Reminds me of a joke.

EDIT - I thought better of it. Probably not right for a family forum

Brady would cement himself as the GOAT no questions asked with a win. A loss and it's still a toss up between him and Joe.

If they win on Sunday... Brady is going to have the QB rings record all to himself for a very long time.

There's Eli and Ben with 2 each... 2 is a long way from 5. I don't see either making a run.

Rodgers could but not 4 IMO.

Ah, so that's why BB likes lacrosse so much.

If he wins, the debates are over. They will continue to chatter, but it will be noise signifying nothing.

For that matter, even getting to this SB pretty much ends the real debates. But to beat the leviathon Falcons, who many see as the big "real" test, would seal it conclusively, exclamation point, STFU, type deal.

Definitely a must win, but they are all must wins. I want this one so bad. The drive for 5 is a huge deal for now and all of NFL history. I almost feel like this is a "team of destiny" type deal this year. we have to do this. I'm nervous but confident that we can. We are well prepared and as well coached as anybody.

I believe we're going to win, it may get ugly, but a win is a win.
And IF they lose, well, Brady is not retiring and our younger Defense will be more experienced and hungrier. Both Offenses are high quality, so it will come down to whose Defense plays better.....And we appear to have the better Defense.

This isn't the Bible, so us being Goliath isn't a bad thing.

P.S. Don't pray for Football win, God doesn't work that way.

If we win, the Falcons will suddenly become flawed pretenders who were lucky to have not had to face Dallas. Mark my words.

Obviously it's the SB and every one is a must-win especial when talking about legacy. But 4-3 would be a pretty mediocre SB win-loss record for BB and TB in the court of public opinion. 3 losses, as unfair as it may be because you're essentially punishing them for losing later in the playoffs rather than sooner, would be a bad look for their legacy. Have to make it 5-2

This is the first Super Bowl I remember where I've gone into it not completely disliking who they're playing. Obviously I'm hoping they go in and take care of business but if the unthinkable happens, Atlanta is at least a likable enough team where I won't be fuming until the end of July.

If it was Manning (Eli) or Rodgers, for obvious reasons about "Who's the better QB between them and Brady" discussions that would have ruled the offseason, I'd be more concerned going into it and I'd really hate it if God forbid we lost with having to listen to that for the next few months. So that would have been a completely different story.

If anyone still doesn't already admit that Brady's the GOAT, another ring won't make them change their mind, at least publicly.

True, but one more ring would make their argument that much more weak and idiotic.

Maybe, but bring up the Bills. Bills fans tend to see things differently on this point.

I will be the ref in that game. Now you have reason to complain over a bad call

Also I want to see the Goddell Hitler video after the super bowl. That will be fun.
