Fish smithson is more an udfa type isnt he? How could he be a steal in the 2nd round? I guess if he turns into ed reed.

Not a name guy despite having a great nickname his grammy gave him.

Liked him for a while but waiting for more tape. Just saw him in a top 100 yest

Completely agree. I didn't like any of those guys. Howard is a legit top 16 type of talent. Exceptional blocker, and effortless routes to threaten downfield. Very talented, multi-dimensional player. Totally different level from the other players listed.

OJ is probably one of the best TE prospects to ever come out. Put him on a team w/ a half way decent QB and he'll be a monster.

6'6/250 & looks like he can put on another 5-8 easy. Great blocker. Huge catch radius. Never heard a peep when he didn’t get the ball.

Teams will be fighting for him.

ASJ and Amaro both had big character flaws and both were awful blockers.

Very different players.

Also if Kyle Rudolph was on the Pats for the last 5-6 years he'd have 40+ TD's and a lot highly regarded.

Unfortunately Gronk might not be Gronk in 2 years and Bill is always about 1 year earlier than later.

And again I'm talking about a very specific situation here. Not just trade Gronk no matter what.

I see you are back in your predraft mode after the election and politics and such.

Just checked him out again. I saw a bit of him before but really looked this time. I like the player. IDK what round I have him in yet though but I did narrow it 4th-2nd. I don't think he had first round upside.

Also thinking it is time i should add someone else to my Patsfan HOF. Any suggestions? Keep in mind it is not only numbers of post but quality (including length and information)

I'm getting there, albeit very slowly.

As for Thompson, I don't see much difference between him and Harmon so 3rd round onwards seems about right. Football intelligence probably would determine where BB might consider him. And I do think he's probably a strict Harmon replacement.

Witherspoon was the joint leader in PBUs this year with Thompson and I don't need to reiterate how I feel about Awuzie.

Uzi will have a good 3 cone imo. He's a really nice piece.

I've seen Spoon make a bunch of plays this year where you would think hes 5'10 instead of 6'2.

TT had a very nice year. That stat doesn't lie.

First full mock of the year. Also I will do it only with the picks i believe we have without a Jimmy G trade so pretty by the book mock

#32 - Demarcus Walker - DE - He has fallen a bit and I don't know why. I think he is clearly a first round talent and the 4th best DE on my board as of now behind on Carlton, Garrett and Barnett. He has a complete game. Stop the run and rush the passer. More than just a pass rush specialist who i think are usually overrated unless you are that particular rare specimen.

#64 Fish Smithson - S - Plays a mix of FS and SS. He likes to hit people but also knows when to attack the ball and caused a lot of turnovers. He played on a bad team so no one knows how good he is for sure but he looks like a steal. This will seem like a reach at the time if we take him but BB likes to do these things with safeties and this guy would only be a 1-2 round reach but i think like Harmon he plays up to the pick.

#96 Chidobe Awuzie - CB - IMO this guy is slipping big time. IDK why he is not getting more hype. I know a ton of other great CBs are in the draft but he has it all. Kind of a smaller school guy but played top schools a few times too. I think he rises up board but for now ill put him here.

4th CLE - Jake Butt - TE - Nothing surprising here. Stash a promising TE.

4th SEA - (I think we trade this pick but idk with who for now i will pick) Vincent Talyor - DT - Another small school guy. He is somewhere between a big body DT and a pass rush DT at 310 6'3 and usually I am not a fan of those guys but he seems to do both well. He penetrates very well for a man his size and his burst is pretty legit. The Pats need another DT in the pipe line for when Branch retires be it this or the next few years. I think he fits a nice tweener role we are missing for a big but not too big DT.

5th DEN - Austin Golson - OL - He has played every spot but probably fits best as a center. Interesting prospect to take a chance on. Could be a good back up OT.

7th DET - James Connor - RB - Big guy and a lot like Blount. Dealt with a lot of stuff (cancer and neck injury) but had a pretty good year this year but still may slip. If so lets take a chance on this 6'2 250lb RB.

am a big James Connor fan. Little worried about his injury history

I doubt Howard makes it to #32, especially with Green Bay picking in front of us.

As of now, I doubt bb ponies up the cash to keep Bennett.

Not sure at 220 pounds, engrams is even in bb's board.

I do think bb takes a tight end in the middle rounds of he draft and I do see bb signing a free agent to replace Bennett.

#65 - Joe Mixon - RB (This one i am so-so on... He has a read flag as he punched a woman in 2014 and it was recorded. However he would have been 18 or less at the time... I hate to think 1 mistake at that age could ruin your life. Also it was not a ray rice thing. words were exchanged and she pushed him when he tried to talk away then push him again and he hit her very hard then walked away. It was a split second choice and I don't think that should ruin your life if 18 in this case or mean you are forever labeled a bad person).

Would take Charlton, Davis, Awuzie and Tedric in a heartbeat. All four are high on my radar currently. Very nice.
