Anyone Know How to Obtain the Live German Feed For the Super Bowl?

If you are watching via macOS I can explain to you a simple approach to sync up gamepass video with the radio source via an app that lets you timeshift your system's audio. That's what I am doing with Pats games to avoid CBS/FOX commentators.

Please post. I'd love to hear the Pats radio broadcast while watching the SB

Check out "Audio HiJack" from Rogue Amoeba. It lets you time shift audio from specific applications that are running.

What I have been doing is waiting for the radio announcers to call the kickoff, then pause my audio there until my video feed catches up and then let the audio play again.

The setup inside the app is pretty simple:

Once running you can set the time shift delay to as much as you want.

Again, this is my solution for MacOS. I don't know if there is something similarly easy for Windows. Also don't be scared away by the price tag on their website.. as usual there are alternatives (PM for that)..

You can always put the T V on mute or listen to a local sports station

I'm not in New England.
I don't think the D.C./Baltimore radio stations are doing play by play that day. I have Sirius and I know they will have both calls on separate channels but that's only in my car.

Listening to Zolak and Socci is torture I would only reserve for my worst enemies.

Socci seems like a nice enough fellow and I was rooting for him. However, the voice and drama of a Gil Santos call was unequaled. I know he and Gino had been slipping those last few years, but damn, Socci is nothing like Gil.

Zolak, on the other hand is fun on interviews and segments but should be nowhere near a broadcast booth. Maybe have him down on the field for info break-ins like they originally did before Gino retired.

I still find Socci more poignant than the CBS or FOX crews. In contrast to many others I actually don't have an issue with the NBC crew but I can't stand listening to the inanity that comes out of the mouth of Buck or Simms.

I definitely agree on Gil, though. No contest.

Since I speak german, if people are really interested I can try to figure out the correct stream before the SB and post it here.

Well, here is the link to the SB "live stream" on the RAN website, but as I said in my first post in this thread, I have been using the 2 TV channel apps (SAT1 & ProSieben Maxx) from my iPad throughout the year and they worked better than any stream for me.

http://www.ran.de/us-sport/nfl/live

You US guys might just have to establish a German country-based account in iTunes to get the app, but once you have the Apps I dont think you face any protection issues even If viewing from a US IP. With the app you can also test connectivity by watching the regular TV programs from now tiil gametime. The stream you wont be able to test till they turn it on a couple hours before the game.

there shouldbe a nation radio broadcast somewhere

This isn't some insidious internet trick where instead we'll actually get all those "Hitler gets pissed off about the Patriots" videos, right?

No, but over at Patriot Place they are figuring out how to get the German call on to the Falcon's headsets...

I believe you'll find that the online stream of this gets blocked on game day. That's what I found when I tried to access it a few weeks ago. All I got was a recording saying "Due to FCC regulations (which the NFL totally lobbied for..)..."

Catch all of the action with these Super Bowl live streams says:
If you’re on the go but still want to be tuned into the game, consider turning on a free radio broadcast. NFL Game Pass, Fox, Westwood One, SiriusXM and Entravision will be covering the Super Bowl live. You can also visit nfl.com for access to foreign language broadcasts.

I think you'll find that you can catch the Westwood One radio broadcast pretty much everywhere. At least that's been my experience. Be prepared for lots of Kevin Harlan, sigh.

That's it!! I'm inviting Gil & Gino over to my home a week from Sunday...or, I'll take my family to Gil's and pick up Gino on the way. I bet if I live stream what we say during the game it'll be better (and more popular) than anything else out there.
