The sweet taste of HFA ..

Green Bays defense looked terrible in the 1st half of the season, but I think they have improved over the last 6 games.

They almost blew that game against the bears

Can't argue with that one.

Regardless I feel like the NFC is up for grabs, I feel like anyone in the playoffs could go to the Super Bowl.. barring the Lions if they make it in.

This was a perfect weekend for the Pats
  • Clinch HFA throughout
  • No KC/Pitt in divisional round
  • Record set by TB
  • Floyd emerges
  • no injuries
  • solid D
  • Dallas loss (Pats with best record in league)
and I'm sure there is more

and the Jests won!!!!!

I just think All of the teams except the giants have to avoid Dallas. Dallas is built for these high powered offenses

Gotcha. While you very well may be right, my personal opinion is that you have to beat the best to be the best. Aside from that, when people bring up the QB argument, I'm sure a lot of teams preferred to play QBs like Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Eli Manning (twice ), a geriatric Peyton Manning etc. But any team you have to play got there by beating somebody else.

IDK, I respect the opinion of people who would rather play easier teams, but I like to have the attitude of taking all comers. That's just me. For example, the Ravens and Seahawks victories in 2014 were more satisfying to me than the colts, simply because we beat great competition.

Like another poster said, if we can't beat any team in the AFC at home, then we aren't good enough to get to the SB. I like seeing the pats play to win the game, rather than playing to not lose.

I believe the Pats can beat any team in the AFC but to me it's about making it to the SB healthy. If they play a weaker team in the divisional round they can rest key players to avoid injuries if they take a comfortable lead. If they have to play both KC and Pitt the risk of injuries increases (games possibly going to the last minute). This is not to say they can't win these games. The challenge will be in the SB against the best of the NFC in neutral (almost) territory. It would be nice to be healthy is all since winning the SB is the goal

Absolutely, health is the most important factor, but deciding which team is most likely to cause injury is kind of hard to predict.

No doubt, in football anything can happen. Look at today's game, with a comfortable lead it allowed BB to rest some of the key players in the 4th when I would think many of the injuries happen due to exhausted players. IDK maybe I am hoping for that 5th ring too much and have seen them come so close and nothing because of having to play gimpy players or players being out due to injuries. I can taste this one. I know on to the Div. Round, lol.

Heard. This is one of the better teams in awhile as well as one of the healthiest. I hope we can keep it going. Can't wait to stop thinking about it and just watch them play.
