As ESPN.com NFL national writer Kevin Seifert pointed out, the Patriots are one of the healthiest playoff teams. Some of that could be attributed to some program changes, but when I asked fourth-year cornerback Logan Ryan, he cited player commitment as what stands out to him the most. Ryan said there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that no one sees (e.g. hot tub, cold tub, salt tub acupuncture, etc.) and that he has seen a more across-the-board buy-in this year in that area, especially from younger players. He pointed to how veterans Martellus Bennett and Chris Long are constantly working on their bodies, and how others see that and follow their lead.
