Patriots have the #1 defense (PPG) in the NFL

I find it a bit funny people are saying might be trouble if they have to play Roethlisberger. Because it ignores the fact that Brady would be playing against the Steelers defense in that game, at home.

Just as an aside, I never understood the logic of this. When you're in the Super Bowl, you're in the freaking Super Bowl. You don't have the luxury of "avoiding" a good team. Whomever you play in the Super Bowl did just as much if not more to get there than you did, so clearly they are a worthy opponent. (except the Broncos in 2013, but you know what I mean). As long as you get to the dance, doesn't matter how you dance....you were there.

Yes, but in all fairness, I think there is something to be said about facing the Cowboys in a stadium only 3 hours away from Dallas. Crowd noise would be insane! ...would practically be a home game for Dallas...don't ya think?

I'm hearing that meme everywhere today too for some odd reason. Even in the game earlier this season Brady didn't have to do much because Blount ran it down their throats...and that was without Dion Lewis.

Nobody disputes the fact that other aspects of the game influence the score but the primary method of stopping opponents from scoring is clearly the defense. Marqui is just one of the draftnik trolls, like captain stone, Who really doesn't care about the team he just cares about ripping on Belichick for his draft choices and criticizing the team in whatever ways he can. Trolls suck, imo he's a troll.

There is nothing easier than ripping on drafting choices. The number of players that work out on each team on average is so miniscule that it's impossible not to "hit on busts" as a troll.

Ha, the Patriots beat four of the top six teams in yards against, I believe that Marqui and his CHB call them TOMATO CANS.

damn, I didn't even notice hahahah Patriots beat 6 out of the Top 10 teams who have the best total defense in yards (rushing, and passing)

Perhaps it would be, but a Super Bowl is always noisy regardless. I remember hearing stories about the 2004 Super Bowl in Jacksonville and how Eagles fans "outnumbered" Patriots fans. They still won. And TBH, San Antonio is really the Cowboys's #2 city besides the Dallas Metroplex. I'm sure folks would drive up and be there, but I wouldn't be concerned if it was in Denver either. There will be people there cheering on any team who plays the Pats just because they are the Pats and they want them to lose.

I respect the Steelers and Roethlisberger, and Bell and Brown are great players, and they could pull an upset in Foxborough, but then again so could a number of teams. The Steelers struggle on the road and the Patriots would get them in Foxborough. I'll take the Patriots every time but it would be a tough game, which is as it should be.

Having been at the SB in Glendale, it was essentially a Seattle home game with their fan outnumbering Pats fans 3-1 at least....

There would be more Dallas fans but Super Bowls are ****tail parties and there isn't any home field advantage. I will never forget 2001 when there were very few hard core believers in the Patriots and interest was modest, then however, when they beat Pittsburgh, they came out of the woodwork and I remember literally dozens of people I knew who hadn't cared about them all season crowing about going to the Super Bowl. Very few who I knew who went really cared about football they just wanted to be at the event. Personally I would rather watch it at our yearly Super Bowl party, I can be with friends who care about the Patriots and actually watch the game.

Super Bowls are noisy but there's a big difference between noisy and passionate fan bases like KC and Denver who understand how and when to use that noise.

That's true, I just used Denver as a solitary example, but I still feel in any city that isn't in the 6 NE states....the majority of "fans" there will be cheering for the team playing against the Pats strictly thanks to ****dell and the media and their narratives they've put out there about the Pats.

We all saw what happened when Brady went to SB 50 in San Francisco, his own hometown. Makes me hate ****dell just thinking about it.

How do you propose they do that?

I think the chiefs win tonight at home vs Denver. I think the Chiefs will beat San Diego at home next weekend.

The Raiders have to go on the road next week to Denver with a back up QB. I think the Raiders lose there last game and KC wins there last 2 games. Obivously giving KC the #2 seed.

Knocking the raiders to #5 and going to Houston and gettting knocked out of the playoffs.

I thought the Steelers were going to win tonight but not so sure but regardless it doesn't change my play off picture for the Pats. Steelers or Ravens knock out the Dolphins.

KC beats the Steelers/Ravnes
New England Beats the Texans

New England plays KC in the AFCC game.

Yeah I know this. But I am not going to explain why because I don't wan to be called a trollololol.

And if you go by my potential play off match ups.. I know this sounds unlikely but I believe to be true. The Patriots are going to play the Texans in the Divisional round and the Chiefs in the AFCC. I believe this defense will shut both of those offenses down.

I would like to avoid playing GB, or Seattle in the Super Bowl.
Houston first game will be KC if everything stays the same. but I got the fish beating pitt and facing the pats in the Divisional
