Patriots Locker Room Celebration Following Win Over The Broncos

Chris Long has the look of a dude you wouldn't want to mess with. He looks very imposing in that video.

I was going to type this, so I'll just have the quote be my post.

"Hold down the East" is kinda milquetoast as far as celebratory slogans go.

They have won it so much they are probably scraping the bottom of the barrel for slogans now. Besides, they have bigger goals.

Those are generic NFL slogans. Stupid and lame. Winner of West will get Hold Down the West, etc. Terrible crap.

Reminds me of the Jacksonville Jaguars slogan "Lock Down the Bank" (referring to their field name - Everbank Field). That disgrace of a team couldn't even lock down a piggy bank.

But if I were the starting QB, I don't think I'd go up to the backup that watched from the sidelines all game and say "Way to go man, that was big time!"

lol

Maybe Jimmy ran Denver's offense so well in practice that it got the D ready for dominating the real Denver offense. That's a guess. but I think it's likely true.

In 2014 it was "Run". "The Patriots Run the East", "The Broncos Run the West", etc.

"Not THIS Team"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best slogans happen organically.

Very true, I remember back to the original dynasty run in 2001, 2003 and 2004.. Belichick in the post game lockeroom video had a gameball for Damon Huard and said that even tho he didn't play a single snap in the game, he had as much to do with them winning as the guys who were on the field because of his work as scout QB preparing the defense for their opponents

That was in 2003 after beating the Colts and Manning in the AFCCG.

Quite possible,
but I agree with those suggesting it was an AFCE title celebration and all 3 QBs were direct contributors to those wins
