Patriots 2026 NFLPA Report Card

Seems many of these complaints will be addressed with the new facility that I think opens this offseason.

The plane thing…actually surprisingly easy to fix for Kraft.

Massive tax breaks for replacing old equipment with newer.

In fact, it would be a clever way to offset some of the gains they realized selling minority share of the team.

The food thing is weird.

Like, you run a professional sports team…get them nutrition befitting elite athletes FFS.

Maybe the new facility has a badass kitchen now?
Moot at this point, but why couldn’t Brady have become a minority owner?

Kraft always said he was like a son to him.

Maybe a red-headed step son?

aren't the patriots building a new training facility? we have known for awhile now that those aspects of gillette have been lacking... so i am not gonna ding the team over that, when the new facilities are scheduled to open in the spring...

more interested in seeing the grades next year when the build out is done...

as for the plane, eh, I don't care about that... all i know is it looks effing cool, and sometimes thats good enough lol...

As much as people always like seeing the Patriots jet at the airport, it really is a POS and frankly I worry about the safety of the team

When was the last time you flew on an aircraft that had ashtrays in the armrests?

While the Seinfeld-esque predicted loss of an entire team may indeed one day happen, I truly worry about the Patriots flying a 1991 Boeing that's been the subject of questionable upkeep by the contracted operator in the past.

There's a reason why the FAA doesn't allow these to be used for commercial flights anymore, only private charters.

Great question. This is rarely talked about on here. People, please weigh in.

Think about it....
In 2017, Kraft buys 2 used planes built in the early 1990's.
He retrofits them to suit the team's needs.
His choice for seating...............................a bit curious.

Question: Were plane seat manufacturers in 2017 constructing modern seats..... WITH ASHTRAYS?
Or did Kraft scour the budget bin full of 2-decade old inventory.?

Note: Smoking was totally banned on US flights in the 1990's
Upkeep is everything on aircraft this old and that's part of the reason why they were grounded in recent years, pending the $22 million lawsuit with Eastern Airlines (not the old commercial operator).

Compare that to the $5 million each Kraft paid for the last of these 1980s era aircraft.

Most teams charter newer, nicer planes for the weekends they need them - they can even charter planes for family members and staff as that's what the other Pats plane is often used for.

I'd have to think the players would much prefer flying on newer, nicer, safer charters even if they don't have a custom paint job.

I'm sure it must seem like whining to a lot of us that they would complain about having a private team aircraft, but they're probably not eager to be flying routinely on something that old as they risk their lives enough on the field.

I’m not sure Tom wanted anything to do with NE anymore.

Also, in Vegas he likely has legit stroke with his opinions. He wouldn’t in NE.

I DO think it’s a conflict of interest for him to be announcing games AND being part owner of any team.

It seems weird to me, but I googled Average Age of commercial planes, and it seems the cheapest Airlines have the youngest planes (<6 yrs), while the average is ~14 yrs.
Never would have guessed that.
I'm sure the 737 issues aren't helping that.
I've been in an Airbus 320/220 the last 6 trips.
