Stephen A. Smith called Aaron Rodgers the most talented QB ever, and he's absolutely correct

Smh...Another silly attempt to distinguish 'talent' from overall greatness... this is basically another incarnation of Brady vs. Manning circa 2006.

Stephen A. Smith really ought to just stick with basketball....smh

As for the Rodgers supporters, they don't seem to understand that intangibles in a QB, can often be just as important as one's athlethic attributes. Time and time again, we've seen Brady's leadership, determination, work ethic, and intelligence help him and his team overcome adversity.

You can keep your Rodgers...I'll take Brady...any day of the week!!!

Lol we gotta stop posting his stuff here. Physical wise, yeah it's possibility true. I don't think anyone can throw a better ball without setting their feet or stepping into their throw than Aaron Rodgers.

i agree withe the first sentence above

why waste space w/ this thread? theres many fools out there w/ bad opinions

Bingo, we have bingo. Theres no reason to post rubish like this since the only reason that the loud mouth clown known as Steven A is to stir things up to get clicks/hits.

SAS doesn't understand what "talent" is required to play the QB position at a high level.

Being able to process 923 things in 20 seconds and make the best decision for that play is a talent.

Being able to maintain composure under stress is a talent.

Being able to play under control and not try and do too much is a talent.

Throwing the ball 12 yards to a moving target the size of a baseball is a talent.

Being able to have the restraint to sacrifice your stats and keep your ego check so to avoid risky plays so your team has the best chance to win is a talent.

I respect Aaron Rodgers as a great QB but to say he is a more talented Qb is not accurate.

Most talented? How do you define "talented" If you talk about physical measurables the most talented QB is probably Elway and then after him maybe Steve Young (being able to be accurate is part of talent too which is why i don't include guys like Vick or Newton as much).

Also it is fine if you wanna bring up Elway's completion % but much of that was system based with deeper passes. When asked to switch to more west coast he hit a bit over 60% which is fine for the time.

Rodgers is very physically talented but might not even be top 10 when talking about what you can put on paper.

Brady is better overall though

Call me when that trash AKA First Take is cancelled!

I'll take it a step further and say there's no valid reason to EVER watch ANY of these sports shows. Watching sports in general and spending time on forums is bad enough.

More click bait from Stephen A. The is just another poor excuse of a so called debate when there is none.

I'll take that as a diss to Rodgers. The most naturally gifted QB of all time, and yet he's only cobbled together 7 career playoff victories! That's fewer than the famously ring-challenged Dan Marino.

It's a shame and a waste, I tell ya. All that magnificent talent! *sniff*

Do we really care? The only stat I can with Brady is wins. I don't even care if he's 5'6" 180lbs and throws like chad pennington.

I was going to post, read your response, and knew there was no reason to add to it. Rodgers really is a freakishly great thrower.

he said if rodgers had BB, the pats would be better lol

Wait if Rodgers had BB that means BB would be in GB right? After all the person "having" the guy would imply they would go to that person and not the other way around. So is he saying the Pats would be better without BB?
