Thursday Night Football....Raiders @ Chiefs

From the little time I had tonight to watch the game, it seems like HFA would really help us, weather wise. I think the Pats have an advantage in the cold. I'll take any advantage at this point. This is going to be a nail biter from here on out.

Oak's receivers were dropping passes the whole night. Weather totally affected them. HFA is crucial no doubt this year. It would be nice if the Gillette fans can stand up and cheer for once because NE needs every advantage they can get this year. No room for error.

I go to every game...everyone in mY section gets up and screams all game long. You want to throw stones from whatever ivory condo you're typing from, take a goddamned look at THIS first...

THAT is the ridiculous, preposterous east end zone in Gillette. How in blazes can anyone "stand up and cheer" when there is NO there THERE? Add to that the tea and crumpets red seat sections on both sides and you get a dampening effect on crowd noise. That end zone abomination is atrocious ,however. The worst idea in Patriots stadium history.

Didn't watch this game but I've suspected Oakland of being a fraud for a while now. KC, I'm on the fence.

Hard to ever fault the crowd in NE when you literally can't tell if they're doing a good job because of the poorly-engineered acoustics.

Alot of people getting ahead of themselves on this thread. Still got alot of games left including a trip to denver. This game on monday's huge.
That's why I was a little confused why everyone was pulling for Kansas City THAT heavily. I don't think we should be rooting hard for either one.

Hard to completely sell Oakland down after this one. They their best lineman out, dealt with bad weather in a very tough place to play, and even had a dinged up Carr.

I will say I feel completely confident about us playing them in New England now. And that should be the case unless Oakland wins out and we don't.

The Seahawks are geniuses for what they built.

I actually don't hold this loss against them as I didn't watch it. This is the same opinion I had earlier today because of their poor defense and close games against bad teams.

If I had to guess, I'd say our SB path is probably Oak, KC and then Seattle.

Den @ Pitt = Pitt win
Oak @ Hou/Indy = Oak win

Pitt goes on to play KC and we play Oakland. We murder Oakland because they're not ready yet and KC squeaks out a win against Oak. KC comes here and looks awful because they don't have what it takes to get over their AFCCG yips.

I think Seattle easily handles anything the NFC throws at them because there's some serious frauds in the NFC right now *cough*GB/Dal*cough*

But @signbabybrady said it was a great place!

Are those red seat reserved for certain people?

To be honest I thought for a record crowd noise stadium it was pretty underwhelming at times. Almost like Foxborough. Just further proves it's not necessarily the fans but the stadium design. I've heard much louder crowd throughout an entire game in domed stadiums and Seattle's stadium.

Absolutely. KS played a lot of tight man coverage too. I think with Carrs beat up finger, the cold, and the coverage, it was a good recipe for Oaklands demise.

Stadium design aside..it was inexcusable being there Sunday and seeing how many people left early. I realize that for the average game at any given stadium you'll have those people. However, the significance of this last game was anything but average. Apparently beating traffic is more important than soaking it all in as you watch the man who has given you 15+ years of greatness end the game as the all-time winningest QB ever.

Travis Kelce is a douchebag.

I remember he pulled that **** with Brady before the playoff game last year. Mimicked what Brady did after he made his usual sprint down the sideline and did it basically in his face. Which was really the only thing he did that night because he was completely shutdown by Chung.

Some legit teams are dealing with significant injuries this year. NE with Gronk, SEA with Thomas, now KC w D.Johnson.

Setting the stage for another Broncos win by default and more people calling Elway a genius and rewriting history to say their 2016 defense was one of the best of all time.

Did YOU leave early? I know I didn't. Tunes stayed well past the end of the game taking shots of Brady. Fans who appreciate the significance of Brady's milestone stayed and took it all in. The game itself was a borefest and over in the 1st half. I'm surprised as many stayed into the 2nd half as they did.It was obvious to a blind man that Fisher had NO gameplan of any consequence.

I didn't leave early and never will. I don't care if it's 40-0 or 0-40.
