Oakland was a LOT less than impressive, given they had a 3-0 take away advantage and KC's best ILB was done early in the game. Remember THIS was the same Oakland offense that was being lauded as the league's best and could only score 13 points while maintaining a 3-0 TO rate. Nothing to take away from KC who also has a fine team and will be a real threat if or when we play them. But they couldn't score a point the entire 2nd half ......at home.
The point of all this is EVERY team has their strengths as well as weaknesses. Every team has undergone serious injuries to important players. EVERY team will have a good chance against every other one, and the team that is the most prepared, the most discipled, the most focused, with the best game plans will win. And if those are the criteria to win, then I'll take our chances to win it all our chances even without Gronk.
