All I'll say is be careful what we wish for. I do not like the sound of us going to KC, so getting that top seed is all the more important now.

For sure. The Pats control what happens now, they just gotta keep rolling.

I can't see the voters giving it to Brady. Maybe if he finishes with 30 TDs and 3 INTs at most.
Elliot will be MVP.

Hell New England could.. I reference "possibly" drop 3 out of their last 4 games. Now if they do that most likely we aren't doing **** in the play offs anyway. Lots of football to be played. And I hope we don't get to banged up playing 2 tough defenses back to back.. and then to end in Miami. This is a very tough finish for the Pats.

What we learned, KC's offense sucks, Derek Carr had his worst performance of the season when the division and HFA was on the line. Both teams are no where near as good as New England on offense with or without Gronk.
I dont about nowhere near as good about the raiders. They had a terrible game today but we scored 17 vs the jets and 26 vs a rams team aided by a couple of turnovers and 1 long 40 yard run and are 4 for 16 on 3rd downs since gronk went out . I expect our offense to solve itself and hopefully bennett gets healthy but right now they are still working through it.

We also still need another loss from Oakland. If they win out, they probably end up winning that divison after all unless KC wins out as well.

Bennett's the big key if this offense will thrive. He has to be a factor on offense to open it up.

The whole season is a blood bath. The best teams are the resilient ones with the deepest roster
I think this whole season is one of the weakest in the NFL. No real stand out teams. Everyone can be had.

Atomic Dawg....you feeling this?

Yeah, how "AHEAD" can you get with just 4 games to go. This is where the Patriots do their best work...in December. It's been proven for 16 years now. Perhaps not last year but that was an anomaly. Pats always play their best going into big games/playoffs. I'm not worried unless you-know-what happens to you-know-whom.

Elliot will be MVP.

I posted about this in another thread, but McFadden would've equaled Elliott's stats last year behind that OL if he got as many starts & touches per game. The Dallas OL could win MVP and it would be well deserved.

Unless the eventual 6 seed beats Balt/Pitt in Wild Card round, we're going to have a very difficult game in the divisional round vs the Raiders or Chiefs.

Can I be that lazy, annoying guy??? But really, can someone give me a summary of the Pats situation right now? What do we need to happen at this point, regarding seeding and HFA.... ?

It really is, I mean it always is. But this year for some reason, there is no one standout team in the AFC so the "game of attrition" cliche applies more this year. Last man standing at this point.

If Oakland and Denver get in, could see both wild card teams through to the divisional round and #1 seed likely get Denver.

I partially agree. The offense will have to reinvent itself after the loss of Gronk but they have the weapons to do it with. Mitchell and Hogan are about to take a big step from back stage to front stage.
