It makes sense from a jealous, petty stand point. I think the Jets despise the Pats so much that they will put aside developing their potential future QBs just for a chance at upsetting the Patriots

If they win, NY media will be treating it like they just won the Lombardi and the national media will go into full attack mode on how ****ty the Pats are, has Brady's age finally caught up to him, has BB lost the locker room, is it time for a change of guard at QB and HC, etc etc etc

Bowles is just trying to save his, and potentially Maccagnan's, careers. Supposedly he thinks Fitz is better than Petty. Though that shouldn't be the concern now. Wins are meaningless while playing Fitz. Besides I'd say Petty is better. And I'm pretty sure Petty is not very good at the moment, but Fitz really is that bad.

He has been disgraceful. Trust me. I've watched every damn play. Seriously. I mean, I hate Tebow with a passion, but Tebow might be better. Fitz needs to take his 12mil and leave this area quietly. He's a POS, greedy, whiny, little female dog.

Sure Fitz is the only guy with any substantial NFL experiece, but it's not good experience.

But I am rooting for the pats on Sunday. I figure the only way Bowles gets fired is with a good Romping by the Pats in NJ. I hope its a 50+ blowout!

I am encouraging all fans to do the inexplicable...root for the Pats this weekend and get Bowles fired. If you attend the game make noise when Fitz hits the field and silence when Brady is on.

This is the one chance in a lifetime where the Patriots can actually save the Jets from themselves. We need Bowles put out of his misery. If they are humiliated at home by the Pats, there is no way Woody lets him continue with Fitz and he may be fired immediately.

Fitzpatrick is feast or famine. Petty hasn't played much and that limits the play calls to safe conservative plays and check downs.

It's obvious that this is a last hurrah for the Jets at 3-7. They beat us last year and even the game @NY in late October was decided in the 4th quarter. Amendola and Gronk were huge in that game.

NY is a little too banged up I think, but still a good set of DTs. Not sure if Mangold plays or not. That'll be key for any chance the Jets have of controlling clock and keeping it close.

Sorry, but Bowles is the least of your problems.

Your problem always has and always will be Woody Johnson. He is the one who dumped all that money on Revis, and his preemptive comment shows that he likely overruled his football people.

Even if Bowles is fired, you're not going to get an elite coach until Woody is willing to step aside and stop meddling in football operations, and we all know that's not happening for as long as he owns the team.
