I had an auxillary subclavian thrombosis years ago...clots aren't anything to play with. I'm surprised that they're okay with him to play with. It must not be as serious as mine was because I was in the ICU for 3 weeks.
Your situation and Bosh's were a form of DVT and require blood thinner treatment. Nink's was a large collection of blood in his calf resulting from trauma. Blood thinners would be contraindicated. The "clot" got infected causing the awful wound. It takes a LONG time to resolve, but as he is not on blood thinners he can play.
