Gotta love over reactions like that, after a game where the defense came out flat and terrible after 2 weeks off and the offense didn't have their best game and turned the ball over twice, they still were in a spot to tie it up and send it to OT against the best NFC team. Ya some will say Cowboys but it's only been half a season for them, Seattle when Wilson isn't on two bad ankles is the best team.

Good thing we have M. Bennett so after Gordie have his say we'll Probably see Gronk in a Month the Latest. That was the First Time I saw Gronk go in the Opposite direction after a hit and the injury shows. That said take your time Big Guy Bennett will pick up the slack.

It's good that he doesn't have a punctured lung. I don't think he would have come back in. That hit was in his head the rest of the game, though. He dropped a pass he routinely catches over the middle late in the game because he took his eyes off the ball to see where Thomas/Chancellor were.

Since he was advised not to fly I'd say that there might be some truth to the punctured lung report. Maybe an overstatement but you can fly with bruised ribs also beat reporters keep referring to it as "lung injury"

That the ball was tipped is irrelevant. It was still catachable and he took his eyes off of it to look up. The guy has reportedly been advised not to fly, meaning he may actually have a punctured lung. If that's the case then it makes sense why the guy didn't want to get hit like that again.

We might never know what the injury exactly is, but let's be thankful that it's not a multi-week or season-ending thing...and then let's be grateful to him for his play and his guts.
