when is the last time our team got a meaningful turnover?
I put this one on the offense. So many 3 and outs in the first half. Can't score a tying goal with 1st and goal in the 4th. Brady with an uncharacteristic interception. Edelman with the fumble. They were more physical and played harder. We'll learn from it, and move on. The AFC East is still ours. Long season to correct issues.

Not sure thats possible lol. The only #1 stat for our D has is killing clock to lose games. We've thought a couple times if we just dont field a D and go tit for tat shootout we would win more. lolOur 3rd down defense is Saints level.
Oakland likely goes 12-4 as well. I'm not buying them at 14-2 or 13-3 with that tough division. I guess the upside to this loss was that it was out of conference.Yeah 12-4 wont cut it. Remember Denver last year? Sleeping on Oakland too?
I'm still mystified why Collins was shipped out.

That is my usual take. And, I worry about games after a bye. But, this D just feels different. The offense was off, but I think the "Bend, don't break" broke tonightI'm not sure I'd throw the d under the bus yet. They had a slight hangover with the bye and Collins trade. The Pats regularly struggle after the bye and the team was just plain bad across the board tonight. Too much confidence after 4 straight and there just wasn't that urgency. Give the d time and take this as a humbling for the offense. If we can go 13-3 or 12-4, we have a shot at home field, so it isn't panic time after losing in the closing seconds to one of the league's best.
Why would you be okay with this? He initiated contact before the ball was in the air. The defender isn't allowed to respond by holding and especially after the pass is thrown.1) I'm OK with the no-call on Gronk on the 4th down play. He initiated contact -- easily could have been OPI
Dude I'm sorry but **** that is a dumb line of thinking and I promise you it's not the case at all
So it's a flag at the beginning of the game but not the end?
Ref consistency continues to ruin this game.

Great point. This D does not turn over the other team. How could they?? They've got maybe 2 or 3 hard hitters and no pass rush. This is a huge issue. Can give some yardage if you force some TOs, that was the difference tonight
