Just give him Luke Kuechly money and get it over with.. at least make him an offer in Wagner territory, because he's worth it and the market isn't going to go DOWN on good middle linebackers..

Brady just said like a week or 2 ago, every good defense has a good middle linebacker

Kuechly is a little north of $12m AAV. I don't think that's out of line for Hightower. They can afford that, and it's super unlikely they can easily replace him. Collins too, but I would understand if they felt like they had to choose one or the other especially if one appears to be a more difficult negotiation for whatever reason...locale, money, etc.

Cap's going up, money's going up, makes it harder and harder to straight compare year-over-year deals. If they could get Hightower on anything south of Kuechly's deal I'd probably call that a win.
